It took me a few hours to find out how to get it since all the tutorials don't work, Pro Tip: Google "apple osk key" and look in the related searches, it should be the 7th result (it is just a small joke/copyright message by apple, not an actual key).

I had the nvda_drv=1 in there as well. The latter I believe does nothing. I understand that the file passes commands to the bootloader and how that works. Just not sure why it's not functioning. December 4, 20169 yr Hello! I'm having some trouble with my Sierra VM and I was wondering if anyone could give me some help. I am passing through a Palit GTX 760 and while the VM worked fine yesterday this morning when clicking start the entire unRAID system crashed. On my motherboard the CATT_ERR led lit up next to the CPU. After rebooting and clicking start again Clover appeared on the display as it should. It began to boot but just before the login screen the VM became paused and I found these errors in the log. 2016-12-04T08:53:17.103806Z qemu-system-x86_64: vfio_err_notifier_handler(0000:01:00.1) Unrecoverable error detected. Please collect any data possible and then kill the guest 2016-12-04T08:53:17.182217Z qemu-system-x86_64: vfio_err_notifier_handler(0000:01:00.1) Unrecoverable error detected. Please collect any data possible and then kill the guest 01:00.0 is my GPU and 01:00.1 is the audio from the card. This is a repeatable error when rebooting the VM. December 4, 20169 yr So I have had a working OSX Sierra VM thanks to gridrunner's videos but I am keen to get it working with GPU passthrough. I tried copying the <hostdev> entries from my fully working Win10 GPU passthrough VM but that doesn't seem to work. I mean it will boot into OSX but the screen is massively corrupted. I see 4 small stretched versions of the screen on the monitor. I can log into Splashtop fine. I am not sure if I need to also change something in Clover config somewhere? December 4, 20169 yr Yes as you have the gtx 950 you will need to install the Nvidia web drivers for osx. January 2, 20179 yr The Sierra guide should be updated to note the GUI doesn't work for step 5. I had to CLI "diskutil eraseDisk JHFS+ Untitled disk1" to get it to work.
January 11, 20179 yr Didn't see this mentioned in any of the prior posts so I figured I would post this http://philjordan.eu/osx-virt/ has an absolute pointing device that is working. Just need to make the appropriate xml edits so you are using usb-tablet instead of usb-mouse. Granted this is after you have the system installed but it makes it easier when just doing things from unraids native vnc.
