January 26, 201610 yr <<Leifgg, is there a special command for a Mac to access CrashPlan?>> PS - Unrelated (new thread if necessary), I just followed your CrashPlan Guide (exactly) except I'm on a Mac. I can't seem to access the CrashPlan Desktop Docker via 10.0.0.55:3389 it comes back "Webpage not Available". I run Windows inside of Parallels (v10) and store my data on UnRaid (v6). Both Docker's installed successfully and appear to be running. Dave Just check me so that I understand what you are trying to do (this looks complicated… ) First question. So you have the CrashPlan container and the CrashPlan Desktop container running on unRAID with IP 10.0.0.55 and want to access it from Windows that is running in a VM on your Mac (on the same network and subnet)? Second question, is the Windows VM on your Mac also is on the same network and subnet so it can reach unRAID? Third question is, are you using Microsoft Remote Desktop Client on Windows to connect to the CrashPlan Desktop container? Fourth question, why aren’t you using a Remote Desktop Client on your MAC to connect to the CrashPlan Desktop container? Can’t you find any client that is able to connect to the remote desktop server (xrdp) that is used for the CrashPlan Desktop container?

February 3, 201610 yr Author Leifgg, Fourth question, why aren’t you using a Remote Desktop Client on your MAC to connect to the CrashPlan Desktop container? Can’t you find any client that is able to connect to the remote desktop server (xrdp) that is used for the CrashPlan Desktop container? Hello, sorry I missed your response last week. I'm really not trying to use Windows to backup my system as it is on a Mac. I just downloaded the Windows RD from the App store but am having difficulty getting it to connect to CrashPlan (not via "named" or 10.0.0.55:3389). In reviewing your setup there is only minimal reference to a Mac. If the Windows RD for Mac is not the best, please advise, otherwise are there any settings that I am missing in order to use CrashPlan. Dave
February 3, 201610 yr Author here is my docker mappings and what I see when I go to add a folder in plex Myk Hi MYK, Again, sorry to have missed your response. I think I've resolved the access from outside by Port Forwarding on my Router. Still have a bit of problem with my Surface, but I think it's the me or the computer (& Win10 grr)! I think most of my mappings are the same (except transcoding which I will add), so I'm not sure why Plex is failing to see my new .mkv's. In researching this problem online, it is apparent that I'm not alone in this problem. On the MakeMKV site/forum/Web, the issue seems to be Plex's failure to recognize new additions and the solution seems to be another Media folder. Apparently once seen in the "new" folder, it also seems to see them in the original folder. Seems a bit weird to me, so if you have any thoughts or suggestions, please share. Regards, Dave Update - I started my Plex app on the Mac, it failed to see the Tower, so I logged off, then logged back in and it found the Server and all of the previously transferred Movies to the /mnt/user/apple/m4v-mkv folder. Not sure of the process that seems to be occurring.

Dave Sorry, not using a Mac so I have no advice on what Remote Desktop client to use. My guess that it would be similar as on Windows. Just enter the IP, but depending on the client you might need to specify protocol and/or the port as well.
