CRASHPLAN causing high docker image disk utilization

I started using CRASHPLAN and as soon as I had it install, I started getting errors "Docker image disk utilization of 94%" and then to 100%.

I have it set up so that all the backup is pointed to a user share, but for some reason that share isn't getting utilized...

Anyone know what may be causing this??

Does /mnt/user/Backup exist on the array?  With that exact capitalization?

 

If so, the mapping for /backup -> /mnt/user/Backup looks right and the "default backup archive location" looks right.

 

What happens if you look at the /mnt/user/Backup folder on your array?  Is Crashplan putting data there?

 

 

Also, how big is your docker image?

I do have the share on the array. but when I lookat the array, it doesn't look like Crashplan is putting any data there.... the docker image is 25GB

I was going to ask if the /Backup share was on a disk mounted by Unassigned Devices, because if it was you would need to restart Docker before you could use it.  But based on the path (/mnt/user/Backup) that doesn't seem to be the case.

 

What are the permissions on the Backup/Crashplan folder?  SSH to the server and type

ls -alR /mnt/user/Backup

then paste the results here.

Is there any chance you have a 'backup' (lowercase) share as well as a 'Backup' (uppercase) share?  If so, that will confuse things.  See this thread for details:

So, I just decided to delete the docker, and reinstall, and everything works now! not sure what was wrong with the previous one...

I wasn't sure if you saw my other idea, but I'm glad you were able to find a fix. Definitely a strange one!
