Is there anything special needed to make this card work in unRAID? Any firmware flashing? Or is it simply plug and play?

 

How many drives can you plug into this card? What type of cable does it use?

 

Sorry for all the questions, I have struggle w/ various sata cards.

I envy you guys in the US. 

 

Although the listing of the H310 has ended, the H200 is the same card but with vertical

connectors.

 

Both cards need to be crossflashed, but that's a fairly easy task.

Check the wiki for further information and links to flashing instructions.

I've flashed over 20 Dell Perc's. If you need help you can always send the card(s) to me and I'll flash them for you and send 'em back.

Anyone know how many watts these guys suck in unraid/bypass mode?  I hear in full raid mode they suck 15 watts and need active blow by cooling.

About 10W, and they do need some airflow around or it will get extremely hot.

Sorry for the late response, been out of the scene for a while. Offer still stands. If you have any cards that need flashing I'll do 'em for free. Preferably in the US, since shipping would cost more than the card. I have an old PC I keep around just for doing these things.
