Docker layout misaligned with 6 dockers or more?

Featured Replies

The docker information is misaligned with 6 dockers.  The autostart switch and log button columns don't align.

A little more checking and it is on my laptop with a resolution of 1280 x 800.  As i shrink the screen it goes to normal and then misaligned again.  I think it is related to the resolution and screen size.  I am using Chrome.

Something is the responsiveness settings?

bonienl, your screenshot is much wider than dlandon's (1920 vs 1257px). It this something to do with element resizing not kicking in at the correct widths, given the content of divs, perhaps?

Edit: Ninja'd. :P

I set my monitor to 1280x800 and it still looks good. Also resizing does not cause misalignment.

I guess we write this one off as a fluke with my laptop.

Can you do a quick test and start the server in safe mode, just to confirm it is not coming from a plugin?

Just tried it in IE and it aligns properly.  Has to be something with Chrome and that display size.

I can't do it right now as I need the server up for work today.  I'm not sure this is a problem you can address.

EDIT: This does not occur with the White theme.

I have Version 59.0.3071.86 (Official Build) (64-bit) which Chrome says is the latest version - no update available.  How did you get a later version?

I'd say we just hold on this and write it off as a Chrome issue and I'll wait for an update.  It's not a serious problem, just a little messy on the display.  Not worth any more time.

You are using the dev version which is alpha code.  I am on the stable version.  You will have different results because of the alpha code.

I'm not sure this is a good version for you to use to do unRAID UI development.  Alpha code is subject to changes that could affect any of your development/testing.

Okay, thanks for the explaination. I removed the dev version and use the stable version instead, it reports now the same version number as you have.

Retested, and still everything works okay. Not sure what causes your issue though.

DPI setting on the desktop?

Whilst we're on this topic. I think the Applications menu item should be left justified.

EDIT:  Actually I can see it lines up with the text, but my mind is telling me it should be over the icon a bit more.

Maybe it depends on how many rows the Docker uses? In DLandon's screenshot his dockers use more than 1 line because of Port Mappings as displays the DownArrowForMore [\/] icon, where as BonieNL's screenshot dockers use only a single line and does not display the DownArrowForMore icon.

I think you may have something there.  I have seen this come and go for quite a while and I just ignored it.  If I remember correctly, it relates to the specific dockers installed.
