August 9, 20178 yr What are the proper values to assign for file, folder, user and group that aligns with what the 'New Permissions' script does in unRAID? For chown, do you use 99/100 or nobody:users? What values for chmod? Edited August 9, 20178 yr by johnodon
August 9, 20178 yr Author Answered my own question (I hope). This is what I am using and seems to setting perms consistent with newperms. If anyone sees issue, please let me know.
August 16, 20178 yr Mine is set up the same way as above, but instead of nobody / users I went with 99 / 100. Same result.
July 18, 20214 yr Where do you go to make these changes? I think sonarr makes directories that I have to go into tools and set the permissions for that share again to be able to make changes in windows network share Edited July 18, 20214 yr by droopie
August 7, 20223 yr When I run the "Fix Common Problems" plugin's extended test, I get a lot of files/folders saying the files may not be accessible due to wrong permissions. The settings this thread relate to have been changed in a later version, and mine doesn't match. What do I need to change to make it right? For reference... this is version 4.1.0.6175 of the linuxserver.io docker.
