Thanks for reporting.  This was working for me when I worked on the new version, but I will check if I forgot something.

@alturismo, do you get the same behaviour with all kind of videos? Just tried one on my side and the preview worked correctly.

actually, yes, just reverted to latest for testing

 

with and without /dev/dri as device, just also cross tested with 2 browsers (chrome and edge)

 

h264 1080p

h264 1080i

hevc 1080p

 

all the same behaviour, the "distortion" you see is already on startup too.

 

v27 (black bar left and black window buttom right looks offset)

 

v24 looks started up like this
