ptmurphy
I started getting a Fail notice on my nightly report from Unraid. It is because of read errors on my Parity drive. Looking at the diagnostics (attached) I am guessing I should go ahead and replace this drive, but thought I would check here before ordering a drive, just in case I am misreading something. Would you replace the parity drive? Thanks! unraid-diagnostics-20180221-1659.zip Link to comment
JorgeB
Despite not showing pending sectors it does look like the disk is failing, an extended SMART test will likely confirm. Link to comment
ptmurphy
I did an extended test yesterday and it says "Completed without error" but not sure where to get the report. I thought the results were included in the diagnostics I sent, but that must be something different? Link to comment
shaunsund
I believe you click the Download button on the Self-test tab for the report. Link to comment

I dindn't notice, there is an extended test and it completed without error, though just a few hours earlier the drive reported UNC sectors, still if the test completed it's OK for now, you can keep monitoring but it will likely have more issues in the near future, and if it does you should replace it. ptmurphy
Thank you for the input. I will keep an eye on it, but will probably go ahead and get a drive ordered to have on standby to have if I need it, or if I get bored one weekend, go ahead and swap it out. Link to comment
