Anyone have any experience getting MyAnonamouse to work with this docker? For some reason I just can't get it to work

I'm creating a MAM session with the docker's external IP and pasting the curl command in the dockers terminal but nothing happens.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks

  • I rolled back to tag 5.1.1-1-01 which fixed the issue for me. I guess the new update wasn't tested for wireguard connections. Edit the docker container and change "Repository" from binhex/arch-qbitt

  • FWIW, I found this method in Reddit that seemed to work for me until they fix the log bug. But note if you have qbittorrent internet facing, it's a risk.   Add this line under [Preferences]

Hello! I have been using wireguard successfully for a long time with this container, today though when the container restarted I got the following error: 2025-06-27 10:35:26,490 DEBG 'start-script'

Beginner and now building a unraid server (ver. 6-12-10). Following Riffsphere home assistant utube video and got stuck. The appdata config path selection does not show on my edit page and I have this error page.

I believe the problem lies with this missing path.

Issue is the 'AppData Config Path' as well as the drop down across from it are missing.

Click “show more” at the bottom of the page to see it.

The default is usually good. It should be pointed to your appdata share.

Aloha, opened all show more settings no joy. Without the missing path I get the error message.

What do you have configured in Settings>Docker>Default appdata storage location?

/mnt/user/appdata/

Do you see the appdata share in your shares tab? If so you can probably just manually add the path to your docker.

Quote

/mnt/user/appdata/binhex-qbittorentvpn

and restart the container.

Ok so update container page, but where? Path: /shared: ?

Please click the show more settings and then post a screenshot of the bottom section of the page.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant show more setting near the bottom of the docker config page.

It may be that with recent changes to unraid cache pools that default has been removed from new templates. Try adding it manually by selecting the Add another path link and enter these settings.

And then Apply.

You the man my friend! Started right up. Now on to configuration. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes! Give em Hell!

Sorry for my confusion. unRAID doesn't push changes to the docker templates to existing installs so mine does't necessarily match yours.

Buddy I have been working on this for a day+, The confusion is all mine. Thanks again.

One other mistake that is often made is with /data. /data is the location where qbit will store all downloads. The same path must exist (with matching container and host paths) in any other dockers using qbit for a download client (Sonarr, Radarr, etc). If you get errors after downloads complete that the file could not be imported because the location doesn't exist it means that you probably have a mismatch with /data paths.

Hello all - been having a weird issue with some binhex containers lately. First noticed it with binhex-qbittorrentvpn after a docker update - the "port mapping" info disappeared from the GUI, and clicking the WebUI button doesn't actually send me to the IP address of the web interface, it brings up a blank page (about:blank#blocked). Just updated radarr and sonarr as well, and now they are also doing this. Is this an issue with a latest round of updates or something I've got misconfigured? Thanks all.

Just managed to get this working - see:
https://www.myanonamouse.net/f/t/71551

and

https://www.myanonamouse.net/f/t/71708/p/p810746#810746

Followed setup instructions what i thought was perfectly.
I use PIA already so just put the us Atlanta .opvn file in the config folder along with certificate and .pem file

container starts, but the gui never loads no matter what browser or device that i use.

When i look at the log after starting, it seems to be missing alot of info

This is probably your issue-

Quote

info] PIA endpoint 'us-atlanta.privacy.network' is NOT in the list of endpoints that support port forwarding shown below:-

You have strict port forwarding set to “Yes” so you’ll need to choose an endpoint that supports it from the list.
