Has someone has tried and gotten this to work with CloudFlare?

You need to set the PUID and PGID. Will most likely fix your issue. 

I'll make a template for it this weekend. 

Thank you, I should find out what PUID and PGID does.

 

In the mean time I found a lighter and specific-to-CloudFlare solution that seems to be working: https://hub.docker.com/r/joshuaavalon/cloudflare-ddns/

Hi Saarg,

 

I was wondering if you had a chance to work on this template?  The ddclient docker I have been using didn't update after an IP change last week so I was looking for a newer version.  This seems like the newest version and if you have (or can make) a template to pull it from the linuxserver site that would be awesome!
