Sascha_B
I have the problem that with none of the hard disks the temperature is indicated. All hard drives are active. The temperature can be read out with SMART Tools. Only the temperature of a unassigned device is displayed. Quote Link to comment
Sascha_B
Where can I start? My Unraid Version is 6.7.2. The HDD Controller is an P420i in HBA Mode. zeus-diagnostics-20191005-0857.zip Edited October 5, 2019 by Sascha_B Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Easiest way would be to use a recommended LSI controller, but it might be possible to get temps with that one using custom SMART settings, maybe someone else with same controller can help since I never had any of those. Sascha_B
Are the values not read out via SMART? There are values displayed everywhere, but not in the dashboard. Is it possible to connect the LSI controller to the backplane of the HP? Quote Link to comment
Squid
SMART attributes are only read every 30 minutes by default in the UI (Main / Dashboard) for performance reasons. This can be changed in Settings - Display Settings under Poll Attributes Quote Link to comment
Sascha_B
Do you mean Settings - Disk Settings - Tunable (poll_attributes): 1800 It´s set. Quote Link to comment

Sascha_B
I disabled the spin down, unfortunately, no values are displayed after hours. Quote Link to comment
JA_AK
Did you ever get this figured out. I have the same problem. It’s interesting because all my disks that are unassigned show a temp but once I add them to the array it disappears. Quote Link to comment
