All my drives are showing as 2.2tb, they are 3tb drives, 1 is 4 tb (that I was going to use for parity This is in the section where I assign the drives. I have an H200 (dell) in there. The internet as usual is a bit woolly on this but it seems these cards should be happy to see larger drives, but yet mine does not. Is there any other consideration I have not thought of? Its in a PCI 16x slot if that makes any difference Quote Link to comment
itimpi Posted October 4, 2019 Share Posted October 4, 2019 Larger drives being limited to 2.2TB is a standard symptom of older disk controllers. As was said unless there is a firmware upgrade the controller is not suitable for modern large drives. Quote Link to comment
