lazerusrm
Ive had this problem several times over the course of my unraid experience (i own several unraid licences and servers) Is there ANY way to fix this problem without pulling the flash drive and putting it in a windows computer? It seems i end up having to do this once a year or so with various servers. My server is in a secure datacenter and access is a 1.5 hour drive and its a pain in the ass! I'm running unraid 6.8 and have SSH access. I can access the box just fine, i've tried other past ways to fix this problem but the flash drive says busy when attempting to unmount it. Please i'm desperate for a fix! Thanks Quote Link to comment
Squid
In *theory* a reboot of unRaid is supposed to run fsck on the flash if it detects problems with it. But I've never once had an issue with my flash drives so can't really answer for what it's success rate is. Quote Link to comment
Frank1940
One thing you can check is that a Docker or Plugin is not using the Flash Drive for storage of data or configuration files. If that is not the problem, You need to setup the Syslog Server and capture the syslog as you shutdown. There may be some clues in there. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-781601 Also attach a Diagnostics file in a new post. Quote Link to comment
lazerusrm
So i was able to disable docker, reboot, and re-enable and my docker containers started and i was able to update again... Odd, but i'm sure glad i don't have to drive up there!! Thanks for the tips. The dockers are stored in their own share across the array (60tb of disks) and seems to be working fine now. go figure.
