JonathanM
If using a MS account to login, you reset the password on the MS account online. If you are talking about a local account, use any boot CD that allows writing to NTFS and implement the sethc escalation attack. Quote Link to comment
Sparkles
https://www.hirensbootcd.org/ would be one of the more popular live disks you can use. Quote Link to comment
Speight3
Offline NT Password & Registry Editor should work with your situation. It's a bootable CD based on Linux. https://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ A Windows 10 install disk can also help you unlock the system, but it involves executing some commands at Command Prompt. https://www.howtogeek.com/222262/how-to-reset-your-forgotten-password-in-windows-10/ https://www.top-password.com/blog/reset-windows-10-password-with-sticky-keys/ If you've set up security questions to your account or made a password reset disk, just click on the "Reset password" option at the Windows login screen and you're good to go. Smm6
To recover the forgotten password on Windows 10,using NT password or password reset disk are both good methods. http://www.chntpw.com/download/ Before using it, you need to master some computer operation skills, otherwise it will be difficult to do. The following method is also good, what is more worth sharing is that it can complete all steps without any computer operation experience. https://www.passgeeker.com/forgot-windows-10-password.html Edited May 15, 2020 by Smm6 Quote Link to comment
