Shrinking the array - is the wiki still up to date?

Hi folks,

i need to shrink my array and found this link

The "Clear Drive Then Remove Drive" Method mention a script (under point 8 - clear an arry drive) which is "very old" - from 2016 created by RobJ.

Can someone tell me, if this script/method is still up to date or is there an other way for v6.8.3 to shrink the array?

I think some have reported problems with the script. You can New Config/rebuild parity without the disk. That other method is probably slower anyway.

Yes, I thought so - then I'll do it the "old way" and have the parity rewritten

Just thought I'd chime in that the wiki process for shrinking the array while maintaining parity worked without issue for me.
