April 14, 20242 yr how to configure it to use my nvidia gpu assuming i have all my drivers installed correctly and also working with my plex docker container. you need to invest serious time to have all configs editable via the gui, this will bring the application to a whole new level, to make your life easier, make a live config generator to see the output as you edit on the gui. it can be even a seperate website that someone can copy paste the yaml file into. what ever is the case we need this. April 14, 20242 yr Author If your host is setup correctly all you need to do is pull the roflcoopter/amd64-cuda-viseron image and it will use your GPU automagically if it is detected properly. I fully agree that the config should be editable in the GUI and i plan to do that at some point, but it is a pretty huge amount of work so i cant give a timeline on that sadly. Viseron v3 is in beta right now which brings a lot of improvements however, like 24/7 recordings
June 8, 20242 yr Just got this installed. A couple of questions: Is there a way to separate which RTSP stream is used for detection(like a sub stream) vs which one is used for recording(main stream)? Edit: Looks like I can use sub stream under the ffmpeg component, let me give that a shot. In my recordings page, it only displays the last recording per camera, though the old ones are still retained in the recordings directory. Is that a feature or bug? You can then press the button in the bottom right corner of each camera card to drill down to the second page. There you will see the latest recording for each day. You can drill down further and see all recordings for a specific day using the same method.

I can see the camera display in the dashboard, however, there are some errors in the log and recording doesn't seem to work. Hopefully its a quick fix. November 17, 20241 yr Author Sorry for the late reply. Its hard to know for sure with errors related to specific hardware since i cant run tests. You can copy/paste the ffmpeg segments command to the shell and then do some google searches (or ask Chat GPT) on the errors you are getting.

[h264 @ 0x14f3a4149c40] SEI type 5 size 2520 truncated at 1936 Audio works fine in live view but when recording is triggered, the error shows up and audio is not recorded. My camera supports only G.711A and G.711U (not AAC).

The stream that I use in VLC is "rtsp://zzz1234:[email protected]:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0" This is what is on the Dahua site rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 I am not sure of the width and height. Not listed in docs or on wiki, so I am guessing. I would recommend pulling the latest beta tag, 3.0.0b12, as that contains multiple improvements and bugfixes (and a log file in the config directory) I am not sure how that is done in Unraid tho. If that is not an option, can you check the Docker container logs? They should give an indication to whats going on

I still don't fully grasp how permissions work on Unraid, especially with dockers.This isn't the first container I've had permissions issues with where there shouldn't be any (the other was MineOS-node).The container's icon also appears to be broken. I can see in the template xml file that it's pointing to a .svg file, but the icon is broken in the Unraid webUI.Other containers with working icons are all raster images.
