trumpets
Our user had problem accessing a shared folder and when I checked on the server, it shows Disk 1 as Unmountable: No file system. I noticed that the system appears to have rebooted. Aside from missing the disk, the shared directories are not showing under Shares config. I peeked at the USB /boot/config and the missing .cfg appears to be there. Have disabled the array and unmounted the drive and restarted but still the missing shared directories are not available. Any advise? Sent from my Mi Note 10 using Tapatalk Edited October 6, 2020 by trumpets Quote Link to comment
ChatNoir
You should share the diagnostics in your next posts so the experts can analyse it and give you a proper advice for the next steps. (Tools / Diagnostics) Quote Link to comment
itimpi
You may find this section of the online documentation to be of use. As was said earlier the system diagnostics zip file (obtained via Tools -> Diagnostics) is needed to give any sort of informed feedback. Quote Link to comment
trumpets
Have made a number of actions that may have complicated some things. After the initial error, the problem disk was removed from the array and replaced with another drive that was supposed to have been reformatted, hoping it will rebuild from parity. This was able to complete the parity check. Note: This drive was originally the parity disk that have been replaced with the 4TB. The original problem disk is connected and viewed as Unassigned Device (sdd). When attempting to mount the unassigned disk, the mount just returns back as MOUNT button. Tried to run # xfs_repair /dev/sdd1 Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... superblock read failed, offset 0, size 524288, ag 0, rval -1 fatal error -- Input/output error TIA tower-diagnostics-20201006-2248.zip Edited October 6, 2020 by trumpets Quote Link to comment
