Gizo
Recently had issues getting every thing back up and going. My question is can I add any disk in all slots? are do they have to be in the right hard drive slots. i.e Disk 1 should only cotain the disk that was previously in it? Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
With single parity data drive order is not important, it is with dual parity (or just parity2). Quote Link to comment
Gizo
Just a single parity drive all seems to be good now bout 22 hrs and I'll know for sure. the one parity in the incorrect slot was labeled "WRONG". I changed it ASAP and re started the check Quote Link to comment

trurl
If you aren't sure which disk(s) is parity don't assign any disk to any parity slot. Assign them all to data slots. Parity should be the only disk(s) that appears unmountable when you start since parity has no filesystem to mount. 1 Quote Link to comment
