Hi, Are you sure that the "logs" share on 10.10.10.5O is correctly setup ? i.e: export=yes; public or private with appropriate access etc. Best OP Quote Link to comment
Mrobert
export to yes? em.. damn, but actually why? isn't that only for the network access? is it fixed now? THANKS!! Quote Link to comment
Opawesome
Hi again @Mrobert, Yes indeed, Export is for network access. If the "logs" folder looks empty even when you ssh as root into 10.10.10.50 then the problem is out of my reach. Sorry. I am confident a more experience user will be able to help you soon. Good luck OP Quote Link to comment
Mrobert
I exported share but logs is still empty I disabled syslog server and enabled it again (is that count as restarted it?...) still nothing Question because maybe this is not proper in the first place. My goal is to have diagnostics after restart, currently all logs are gone, this is "the only" way to keep them, right? Quote Link to comment

I think you can set "mirror syslog to flash" to "yes" in order to keep logs on the flash drive across restarts. However, because of the write operations done to the flash drive, I believe it is recommended to use this feature only temporary for troubleshooting purposes. Best. OP 1 Quote Link to comment
Mrobert
yes, I read that, and I would like not to put my flash through that if possible. logs is still empty, what the hell 😜 I hope someone else will eventually look into that maybe with some previous log-battle thanks a lot Opawesome!
