  1. I am familiar with this procedure. I think thats a specific problem on macOS vm as the problem does not occur on linux or windows vms. I am thankful for your idea, but that's just another workaround - which by the way puts the whole system to sleep and requires physical interaction with the server.
  2. First boot with my 5700xt works fine, but after a restart or shutdown the card does not work. I have to start a different vm with the 5700xt assigned first, before I can use the catalina vm with gpu again.
  3. Just to keep everyone updated. Recently, gnif answered to this issue and stated that their first focus has been on Polaris and Vega cards. So I think this should get fixed relatively quickly 😏
  4. Thank you for sharing that link. I added a question to that thread.. There maybe could be a specific problem with non reference cards or something like that. At least I hope that 🙈 "Doable" sounds pretty good to me ðŸĪŠ Have a nice weekend!!!
  5. ATM I'm using 6.9.0-beta1, every step is appreciated in this direction as it is for all of us. Take your time, I stay on my current version until either the community or unraid itself gets this implemented. BTW, thank you for your provided containers 🙋‍♂ïļ
  6. For example RX5000 series Navi GPUs suffer a reset bug when passed trough to vms. They basically get stuck in an unrecoverable state. This leads to a vm not starting/crashing. While AMD solved that problem for RX6000 Big Navi series, as reported by gnif and Level1Techs, this bug goes back to polaris gpus afaik. So this would help many users of AMD gpus a lot.
  7. Hello @ich777 !!! I'm asking myself if you could add gnifs new vendor reset for AMD GPUs??? https://github.com/gnif/vendor-reset
