Hi, Thank you for viewing my topic I require some help to build a completely new server setup as I'm fed up of having multiple computers etc. The new hybrid server will hopefully last for around five years, if I'm lucky! The server must be able to handle the following tasks, my monitor and the parts that I'm bringing forward to new system: - The new server will have two completely separate Windows VMs for "two computers" VM #1 - will be used for general internet tasks, coding (HTML/Android apps) and video/graphics editing. VM #2 - will be used for general internet tasks, gaming and Plex, Netflix etc. ----- The parts that I am bring forward to my new system are: MONITOR: LG 34UC99-W 34" Ultrawide Monitor CASE: Antec 1200 Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT PULSE 8GB HDD Cages: 2x Icy Dock MB155SP-B FatCage 5-in-3 SATA Internal Backplane Module HDDs: 480GB SSD Docker & VM Drive & 40TB Of Data Storage UPS: APC BR900GI 540 Watts /900 VA Parts to buy: CPU: #ToBeConfirmed #NeedHelp MOBO: #ToBeConfirmed #NeedHelp - Must have onboard sound for the VMs as my monitor has speakers built in RAM: 16GB Kingston 8GB ECC KVR16E11/8 - If possible?
