  1. All right so I've gotten the server up and running on the stable release branch! thank you so much. The next hurdle I am dealing with is the installation of mods. I have followed all the documentation, it's the same as the windows directions with the caveat that everything needs to be lowercase (files and folders). Where I am stuck is where to put the startup command "-mod=@unlimited-stamina;" I tried in the `GAME_PARAMETERS` and that didn't work. Any idea?
  2. I deleted the container, made sure all previous files were deleted and I created a new container with the DayZ server app ID: 223350. Was I correct up to this point? Where would I go to put my login information? I already have a Steam burner account for this specific process.
  3. So switching the app ID didn’t do it, but it looks like there’s official progress being made here: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/DayZ:Hosting_a_Linux_Server
  4. I’ll have to give this a shot. This is what I was referring to:
  5. With DayZ 1.24 officially supporting Linux , will we see official standalone game server support on unraid now? `Official release of the Linux version for the DayZ server slated for the stable branch`
  6. Did you figure it out? in a similar situation
  7. See picture, unable to start a trial. I’m wondering if I need to do something in bios because it says uptime of over 6 years when in reality it’s like 3 minutes.
  8. I found this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1517338673 in this Linux guide it says It will look for the Workshop ID in the '.workshop.cfg' file. do I just need to create that file?
  9. How-To Add Mods To A DayZ SA Server – The Dead Return (wordpress.com) here is one example, I think I am just confused on where to store them, and then how to activate.
  10. DayZ server- How exactly do I add mods and have them load during the startup of the server? Any help would be appreciated, total noob with DayZ and it's hard to find help since I am running it on unraid.
  11. I am going to stop and replace the SSD with a different brand SSD.
  12. I ran into this issue again. This time with the OTHER ssd. This was the other one of the pair I originally had in here. Am I just really unlucky with having two SSD’s fail close to each other? the drive dropped offline. skynet-diagnostics-20230702-1659.zip
  13. Wow! I must have set this when I originally created my unraid server back in 2020. Thanks, all is looking correct now.
  14. Calling this closed for now, I swapped the drives around and haven't noticed anything
  15. These diagnostics should include logs from the mover scheduled a couple hours ago. If it would help I could reboot, run the mover, and get new diagnostics? skynet-diagnostics-20230528-1945.zip
  16. I removed the plug-in, hit the mover and still got a bunch of no space errors.
  17. I am having trouble with files not moving from the cache drive to my TV media share. There is plenty of space on my array, so I can't figure out why it won't move. For what it's worth I am using mover tuner plugin. Here are those settings below. My Movies share gives me the same error for moving movies... no other shares have this issue with the cache drive.. here are my share settings skynet-diagnostics-20230527-1732.zip
  18. So I rebooted, tried several cables, data and power, tried different data ports and the reallocated sector count just kept climbing, and then a udma error started popping up. I swapped this with another ssd in the machine, and it still had issues while the other ssd was fine, so I think it’s safe to assume it’s the drive failing. I pulled the drive from the pool and am running the pool with one drive. If I stop and add a new ssd (240gb vs the current 256gb) can I just start it and do a scrub?
  19. Yeah, the reboot didn't work, now the drive won't even show up to mount.
  20. I rebooted the server and the drive is completely missing from the gui now. How do I proceed?
  21. I’ll check the cables but they are relatively new, I was dealing with this months ago and replaced all the cables. Could my power supply be giving up ever so slightly?
  22. So this morning I got this error: Unraid Skynetcache disk SMART health [5] Warning [SKYNET] - reallocated sector ct is 24. Fast forward a couple hours and I get this: fstrim: /mnt/skynetcache: FITRIM ioctl failed: Input/output error. I logged in and noticed my drive dropped offline, but I can’t figure out why. I’ve uploaded my diagnostics too. it’s worth mentioning I’ve also been having intermittent issues with my /mnt/mediacache drive falling offline too. skynet-diagnostics-20230525-0813.zip
  23. These cables are relatively new, is there any way to see if it’s just a bad disk or a power issue?
  24. OK, it's been almost 4 days and I started getting errors again. diagnostics attached. skynet-diagnostics-20230515-0334.zip
