Both of my parity drives died at the same time?
There in one of these: https://store.45homelab.com/configure/hl15 So it's odd that those two specifically would die. I guess to clear the errors, I need to stop array, remove the parity drives from the config, start it, stop it, and re-add the drives?

Both of my parity drives died at the same time?
Is it possible both of these died at the same time? I got them both at the same time and they're maybe a year old. I moved them both to new slots and have the same problem. They're both able to run a smart test with no errors (I know that doesn't mean much) Thoughts? Time to replace? tower-diagnostics-20251013-1020.zip

SOLVED: Docker network unable to reach dockers on "fixed network" addresses and vise versa
The opposite is also true... I have Nginx reverse proxy container on it's own ip (192.168.2.15) and it is not able to connect to anything on the host unraid IP (192.168.2.3)

SOLVED: Docker network unable to reach dockers on "fixed network" addresses and vise versa
Not sure if this is the right subforum for this but here goes. I have several dockers running on the default docker network. And some dockers on fixed IPs In my case, these two networks are not able to talk to each other. If I open the console for binhex-jellyfin, I cannot ping 192.168.2.3 (my unraid server address) Here's my routing table... Any help in sorting this out would be appreciated.

ZFS formatting hung?
As soon as the pre-clear finished, the format happened. All good!

ZFS formatting hung?
Roger. I'm going to wait for an active pre-clear to finish. Is the format waiting on the pre-clear to finish?
-
ZFS formatting hung?
Background: I starting playing with ZFS pools. - Started with 3 old 4TB drives in raidz1. - One of the 3 drives failed out. - I destroyed the pool to get the bad drive out. - I built a new mirrored pool with the 2 good drives. - Didn't format the drives so it basically imported the two zfs drives and set up a raidz1 pool. - Took me a couple of tries to notice what was going on - destroyed pool. removed partitions on drives. - created 2 drive mirrored pool. At this point I started a pre-clear on the bad drive to see if it's bad, and yes, it is, it's puking all over the syslog. No problem there; expected that. I started the array. Started successfully. Told me I need to format the new pool. I checked the box and hit the button. I've been sitting here for about an hour with zero disk activity. Diagnostics attached. Any help is appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20250424-0835.zip

Build check
Major upgrade time. Ordered an HL15 - Need a mobo, cpu, memory to finish it. Here's what I've got: https://secure.newegg.com/wishlist/md/49480889 MOBO: https://www.newegg.com/supermicro-mbd-x13sae-f-o-supports-12th-generation-intel-core-i3-i5-i7-i9-processors/p/N82E16813183808?Item=N82E16813183808 CPU: https://www.newegg.com/intel-core-i7-12700k-core-i7-12th-gen-alder-lake-lga-1700-desktop-processor/p/N82E16819118343?Item=N82E16819118343 MEM: https://www.newegg.com/crucial-64gb-ddr5-5600/p/N82E16820156380?Item=N82E16820156380 * I haven't built a PC from scratch in 10 years so I want to double check that this is all compatible. * Yes, expensive motherboard. I like supermicro, and I like that it has multiple M.2 slots - That's where I plan on running my mirrored cache.

Why are my "arr" apps using my cache drive?
Ahhh OK I found it. Looks like I need to stop the Array for that, so I will do it later, but everything makes sense now. Thank you!
-
Why are my "arr" apps using my cache drive?
-
Why are my "arr" apps using my cache drive?
Ah ha! It could be that. If I understand correctly... Sabnzbd is downloading to the cache and effectively renaming files and they're staying on the cache drive. I turned cache off, because I'm upgrading a lot of my files, and going through tdarr. My internet speed is dramatically faster than it used to be, so it's pretty easy to fill up my current cache 3-4 times a day
-
Why are my "arr" apps using my cache drive?
I don't know what difference it would make - For example, in Radarr, I just have my Library set to /data/Movies
-
Why are my "arr" apps using my cache drive?
I disabled the cache for those shares, but somehow Television/Movie files keep getting written to the cache drive.
-
Why are my "arr" apps using my cache drive?
Change them to what? They work exactly like I want, until I turn off cache for those shares.
-
Why are my "arr" apps using my cache drive?
* I have had my system for 20 years, so I may have some hidden configuration files I've forgotten about. * My "Television" and "Movie" shares have ALWAYS used a cache drive. * I have recently turned off cache for these shares. * Radarr/Sonarr/Maybe Sabnzbd is writing to /mnt/user/cache/Movies and /mnt/user/cache/Television This ends up filling my cache drive, because the mover wont move, if the shares are not set to use cache. Share configuration Docker volume mappings I'm really confused why data is going to my cache drive... Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Will moving drives to LSI controller cause any issues?
Yep. Pretty easy. I had to remove the bios from the card, but after that everything worked perfectly.
-
Will moving drives to LSI controller cause any issues?
I have been using some cheap 2 port sata cards. I want to replace them with an LSI controller (already flashed to IT mode) - Will moving the drives to this controller cause any problems with unraid?

Seamless cache pool upgrade?
Attached. I'm certain that it's healthy. I guess my question was... replace one, rebuild, replace the other, rebuild. Will it consume all available space? I will of course make a backup before doing anything. tower-diagnostics-20240314-1525.zip

Seamless cache pool upgrade?
I have a cache pool of 2x500gb drives. I want to upgrade those drives. Can I replace one at a time with a larger disk, and not need to disable/move things off my cache drive/pool?
-
Replace drive without rebuilding parity?
Ah, that's what it was. I was trying to save some time since the drive is already empty... I'll just swap it out. Thanks dude!
