  1. I had the very same problem for a very long time, but the latest version fixed it for me. However I can only connect using OpenVPN and it takes some time to establish a connection, I am using AirVPN. If I try and use Wireguard I can't establish a connection at all, despite trying a number different VPN server configs I suggest trying OpenVPN
  2. I'm using SabNZBvpn and I am very surprised that the use of OpenVPN reduces the speed this much? I have tried using Wireguard instead but I can't get a working VPN connection, despite trying a number of different site profiles My VPN provide offers configs for Router or SabNZB, I guess I use the SabNZB option?
  3. The problem appears to be using VPN, with it switched off I am seeing a greatly increased internet bandwidth and download speed of 84Mbs
  4. I have set line speed to 100Mbs and article limit to -1. Articles to request I have tried changing with no effect. I have turrned ff direct unpack too
  5. I have recently increased my ISP download speed from 80Mbs to 900Mbs Previously I saw download speeds using SabNZB of 8MB's and now expected to see 100MBs instead, but I am only seeing 30Mbs at most? I installed a NVMe drive and have created a share for SabNZB, this has greatly increased my folder speed but hasn't changed the internet speed reported by SabNZB? I've enabled exclusive shares under Global Shares, but when creating my new share it's set as not exclusive? It's set solely to use the NVMe drive, which is in a new pool that I have created. Using Newleacher to download I am seeing 100Mbs speeds
  6. The failed disks were shown as unassigned devices, but when i tried to reassign them to the array, the disks were shown but as soon as i selected them their names disappeared as if they did exist. I saw this before, but this time to rebooted the server, upon reboot i was able to reassign the disks OK So i can see them dropping, i guess either because it's power or the HBA is dropping them I will strip down my server and check all connection when i replace the controllers / cabling
  7. After an uneventful few days I have 2 disks failed again! Of the disks that failed last time, these were replaced with larger disks, and I carried out 2 preclears and 3 extended SMART tests each of the failed disks and found no fault. The parity disk 2 that has now failed, it previously failed and I carried out a extended SMART test and found no fault. So I have strong suspicions that it's not a disk problem! My problems started after a power cut, all connections data / power were OK. I wonder if a have controller problem, I read that DELL PERC H200 cards don't like voltage fluctuations? I've started the array without the failed parity disks, added them back in and the array is rebuilding. After last time I have bought new HBA cards and new SFF-8087 to SATA wiring too, I was going to swap this out at the weekend. My plan now is to get the array rebuilt OK and then immediately swap out the cards & wiring See attached diagnostics tower-diagnostics-20260519-1414.zip
  8. Thank you
  9. Hi, I am probably overthinking as both drives show 0 reallocated sectors🙂 I have never seen this heading before, is this 184 sectors that can be reallocated if needed, as the current relocated Logical sectors is 0? I've tried searching on Google but can't find anything about Candidate Logical Sectors
  10. I can see that that the Reallocated Sector count is 0, but I'm concerned that the Number of Realloc. Candidate Logical Sectors is 184? I have never seen this heading before, and Google doesn't give a lot of information on it either?
  11. Perhaps I have misunderstood the report but for the 6TB drive I see? But also
  12. These are smart reports for the 2 failed disks, I am doing preclears on both of them now I note for one of the disks it has 184 reallocated sectors, I guess this one is best thrown away? 13. I now have disks 7 & 8 rebuilt, and will test the failed disks I'll replace the control cards as precaution too Thanks for your help
  14. Extended SMART test for Parity completed with no errors I have now replaced Disk 7 and rebuilding the array tower-smart-20260513-1539.zip
  15. Disk 8 has rebuilt OK, but it reports Data-Rebuild finished with 244 errors. However parity is valid Do you recommend any steps before I replace failed disk 7 with a new disk I have suspicions that I started to have problems with disks 7 and 8 following a power cut, although I have a UPS I've already replace one controller card with a spare that I had laying around, but I have now ordered 3 new LIS9207 controller cards to be sure as they are cheap to buy. tower-diagnostics-20260512-1444.zip
  16. I've now moved disk 8 onto a new controller and checked wiring, it's down rebuilding. Fingers crossed!
  17. This is the latest diagnostics, shall I power down / check cabling / move disk to new controller and then try and start the rebuild again? tower-diagnostics-20260511-1305.zip
  18. After restarting rebuild i have noticed that it has logged 54 faults. I thought that I'd resumed the rebuild after the faults were logged, but i have noticed it is doing a read check instead? Shall I let this complete, or power down / check data & power leads + move disk to another controller?
  19. The rebuild is thankfully still ongoing, if it fails again I'll check power / data wiring and move the disk to another controller. Should it rebuild OK I guess that can do the same. I thought that I would add the new disks one at a time in case of problems.
  20. I have now swapped out Disk 8, and started an array rebuild However the rebuild has paused after 12 mins, see attached diagnostics? I've just resumed the rebuild I have a spare controller card that I could swap out with the once that serves this disk tower-diagnostics-20260511-0717.zip
  21. The failed disks are shown as unassigned devices, and are available to preclear, I can't understand why I couldn't reassign them back to the array? I've been running Unraid since V3 and have not seen the behavior before. I am looking to replace them them to the new drives once the preclear has passed, and carry out testing on the failed ones Nothing has changed on the backplanes, disks / cabling hasn't been touched. Failed disks are showing that they have power to them.
  22. All disks are in a number of 5 to 3 IcyDock backplanes New disks are have just started Preclear Post Read which is going to take 10 hours
  23. Sorry perhaps wrong choice of words, I stopped the array and I tried to reassign the previously failed disks 7 & 8 back into their original allocations They were selectable, but as soon as I selected them, the array reported the disk allocation unassigned If the original disks are going to cause a problem I may just hold out until the new disks have finished their preclear. I was just trying to seek some reassurance by having one or both the original disks working again, before they were replaced by the new disks
  24. Both existing disks tested OK with a long SMART test, however I have stopped the array and tried to add one of them. It's listed but when I select it as an array disk, it's immediate changed to not assigned. I have tried with the other disk and this has the same effect? I have cleared both disks, and both are available to to preclear. I am thinking about preclearing the Disk 8 (4TB) to see if it will then let me add it to the array. In the meantime i am preclearing the 2 new 8TB drives, which looks like it's going to take a total of 50 hours Please find attached diagnostics tower-diagnostics-20260510-1052.zip
  25. I am doing extended test now, and I intend to preclear the new disks before use which is going to take some hours If failed disks test OK, I guess I could rebuild the array with them or at least one of them, and if rebuild is OK I can replace them with the new disks later at leisure? I am just concerned about the amount of time it's going to preclear the new disks and then rebuild the array, and worry if I have another another fault as I will have no parity protection. I guess it's going to safer to rebuild the array with one disk at a time rather than 2?
