  1. I did not install it no… it’s a project as I’d like to have overtime going but for now I don’t have the time to do it unfortunately.
  2. Well, everything worked out in the end. The shutdown did it for some reason. Parity check ran and no errors were found. Server has been up now for a week or two and everything seems to be normal after the upgrade.
  3. I was unable to run the diagnostics, it froze. I tried 3 times (even from the command line) ... I decided to shutdown instead of rebooting, I waited a minute or 2 then rebooted. Now the parity check is increasing (slow but increasing) and I was able to run a diagnostics which I saved in case the parity check freezes again. I will keep you posted hoping that the shutdown did the trick.
  4. Hello, We have been dealing with a few power outages in the last few days, my Unraid server is attached to a UPS but I believe it did not perform a clean shutdown at some point. Now, after having issues with the GUI (which did not want to load) I managed to have it back working but the parity check started and it's been over 4 hours now and it still shows 0.0% .. I can't cancel or stop it as it does not let me (I click but it does nothing). I don't have access to my shares throught the network, everything is super slow and I can't see my Dockers and VMs through the dashboard... Any suggestions? Thanks!!
  5. Hello folks, In the last 2 weeks, I had to forcefully reboot my server. I am not sure what the issue is but I can't access my GUI or SSH ... this is a sample of the emails I received. I m not sure if anyone ran into this issue before... I would like to know how to diagnose it / fond out what causes that as I am scared one day my Server won't survive the shutdown / reboot. Any help would be appreciated, I am not sure where to start to be honest. If you need me to post logs, let me know. I looked this morning but I believe that after the reboot I lost the errors if I am not mistaken. Thanks in advance!
  6. No, my Unraid is on the same subnet as the Plex Server (Docker).
  7. Oh Sorry. Yes I tried that already and it did not work..
  8. You mean in my Plex Server Settings, to switch the SSL setting to what’s actually set? If so I haven’t tried that no. I can give it a shot.
  9. Hi, Thanks for the plugin, very nice! On my Server the plugin only works with the external IP, any reason for that? I would prefer using the internal one instead. Latest version of Unraid and your plugin. Thanks!
  10. Awesome, Thanks for the quick reply. I was not aware of this issue and plugin... Zabbix was the only docker out of my 10 giving me this error. Problem fixed, thanks again!
  11. Hello, Just a quick question in regards to Zabbix. I am using the Zabbix-Server and Zabbix-Webinterface Docker in Unraid and it's been a few weeks not that it show "not available" under version... Just wondering if I am the only one with this issue. I did some research before posting and did not find a solution/topic.... Thank you!
  12. Hello, I tried that for my hostname file since Pi-Hole kept getting generic random hostname... although it seems to load the /etc/hostname file correctly.... my Pi-Hole still has a generic random name for some reason... Any idea how to assign a proper name to my Pi-Hole? Thanks!
  13. Hey, I know this message is 2 years old but I am currently struggling with Pi-hole hostname ... kept using random generic name. Would you be able to tell me if this is still working? I am not sure what you mean by extra parameters... Thanks!
  14. Hi folks, Is this still the best way (up to date procedure) to install Graylog to Unraid Docker? I did some research and found this link talking about docker compose... Just wondering the best way to install Graylog on Unraid.
  15. If you Edit the config of your Zabbix Dicker, you have to create a new Variable (I attached a printscreen). You can give it a friendly name like I did but the variable name has to be: ZBX_ALLOWUNSUPPORTEDDBVERSIONS and the value 1. Hope this helps. I know you got it work but just in case you wanted to know.
  16. You don’t have to edit a config file, simply add: ZBX_ALLOWUNSUPPORTEDDBVERSIONS=1 in the docker config parameter.
  17. If anyone is interested, I found the solution here: https://hub.docker.com/r/zabbix/zabbix-server-mysql/ I was trying to add the Variable AllowUnsupportedDbVersions=1 as per documentation but the actual variable to add for Docker is: ZBX_ALLOWUNSUPPORTEDDBVERSIONS=1 Solved the issue and Zabbix is now working. I know I should not use an unsupported MariaDB version (or at my own risk as they say) but I though it could help someone to update my own post. Thanks!
  18. Hello, I upgraded some of my Dockers today to find out that my Zabbix Container won't start. The log shows the following: 7:20220701:124226.830 using configuration file: /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf 7:20220701:124226.835 Unsupported DB! MariaDB version is 100803 which is higher than maximum of 100799 7:20220701:124226.835 7:20220701:124226.835 Unable to start Zabbix server due to unsupported MariaDB database version (10.08.03). 7:20220701:124226.835 Must not be higher than (10.07.xx). 7:20220701:124226.835 Use of supported database version is highly recommended. 7:20220701:124226.835 Override by setting AllowUnsupportedDBVersions=1 in Zabbix server configuration file at your own risk. 7:20220701:124226.835 Anyone ran into the same situation lately? Any advice? Should I add the AllowUnsupportedDBVersions=1, is so, what is the best way to do it? Or Should I downgrade MariaDB? (Sorry, I am not an expert in Docker Containers, still learning). Thanks in Advance!!
  19. Did you look at the security/permission of your Plex folder? Mine was changed to root which caused the issue. Seems to be the most common issue here….
  20. I had the same issue after upgrading to 6.10. For some reason the permission got messed up under /mnt/user/appdata/Plex-Media-Server/ ...... root became the owner in my case. For now I reinitialized the permission to users/nobody and it fixed my issues but now I'll have to tight the permission as they're all 777 for now. Anyone knows what are the standard / recommended permission for Plex? Any tool to reinitialize those permissions? Thanks!
  21. Depends what you are looking for with your unraid box. Of your intention is running Plex, I would check the benchmark of the 2 processors first, then I know intel supports quick sync which let you do HW transcoding …. Not sure about AMD tho you’d have to check that but like I said it depends on what you are looking for.
  22. Ever got an answer for that? I just installed Unraid (New install) and before starting adding files and Docker I want to make sure my Config is optimal. I have NVME pool for Docker and SSD pool for normal cache.
  23. Morning folks, Newbie to Unraid moving from QNAP... I have my Server setup (no data transferred yet, just waiting and making sur my configuration is right). I am running 2 cache pool: 2x 1TB NVME & 2x 1TB SSD My intent is to use the NVME for Docker and VM and the SSDs for regular cache (file transfer). My question: Did I read somewhere (or maybe I watched a tutorial video) mention of moving the path for docker as follow: /mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img -> /mnt/cache/system/docker/docker.img /mnt/user/appdata/ -> /mnt/cache/appdata/ Just want to make sure my config is optimal before I start using the Server. I am planning in moving my Plex in a Docker and trying to avoid messing around after because I messed up something... Thanks in advance!! Dom
  24. Thanks for the tip. I will definitively research this thread before installing my Plex docker. Better doing it right the first time …
