  1. Hello unRAID community. I’ve heard of people flashing the BIOS of their Founder’s Edition 2080 Ti to that of an aftermarket vendor and being able to achieve 0 RPM while the card is idle. I plan on using a 2080 Ti Founder’s Edition card in a gaming VM in my server. I really like the way the card looks and the fact that it only uses two slots. What I don’t like is that the fans are always spinning. Since you can pass a GPU to a VM using a vBIOS file, if you used a vBIOS file from a different vendor if it would have the same effect as flashing to that BIOS?
  2. For anyone else that may be hitting this wall, I was able to get unRAID Nvidia to boot successfully with the hardware above by disabling Intel Speed Shift in the BIOS. This wasn't necessary with the normal unRAID build. Not sure how significant this is.
  3. I was able to install the plugin and get unraid Nvidia installed, after I reboot my system it hangs after this message: Freeing SMP alternatives memory: 32K I’ve disabled everything I can think of. I’m down to one processing core, one stick of ram, all PCH devices are disabled, hyperthreading disabled. Nothing gets me past that point. My system works fine with the standard version of unRAID. What am I doing wrong? Core system specs: CPU: 9980XE MB: Rampage VI Extreme Omega Cache: Samsung 970 Pro 1TB Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 4x16GB DDR4-3200MHz 14-14-14-34
