I am getting a similar error now with how flaresolverr essentially keeps just looping back and forth, timing out in solving the challenge and wanted to ask if there are other options or recommendations to replace this, and if there is a good place to look for these in the future.

The reason I am doing this is because while I do have the servers up and running, they are of course using my public ip which again, makes sense cause how else would you host right? (atleast to my knowledge). However, one of my friends would like to invite his friends to the server, and while I perfectly trust my friend, I don't really know his friends, which is why I would like to essentially mask my public ip for something else, hence why the question of using a vpn/vps service came into mind, but I don't know of other dockers or commands that would allow me to this with your docker, or even if your docker would allow for such tampering in the first place.

Hello! I am back again, thank you again previously @ich777 for helping me solve my dilemma with palworld and terraria. I have a new question to ask, which is sadly more ambiguous due to the nature of the question as there isn't to much I can get specific with (unless you of course know anything else that I could provide, I gladly would as I am still not knowledgeable into dockers yet). Could your dockers for example like terraria or palworld, essentially your game server dockers in general, be used with a "vpn/vps" so that the public ip I give is the one provided said "vpn/vps" like 876.543.21 then my "actual public ip" like 123.456.78

Funny enough it was partly palworld that helped me figure it out, it has a setting to grab your current public ip, which was my dns ip; at the time I didn’t know wtf it was since I hadn’t seen it for so long and was going crazy trying to find what the ip was since it wasn’t using my “server ip” at face value (its digits). After pinging literally so many ip’s including that one, I went to my cloudflare site and docker logs and behold, it was that same ip that palworld had grabbed. I verified with my terraria docker as well to see if it would work with that ip and port, to which it did. This doesn’t really go in-depth per se so sorry if this doesn’t help. As for actually configuring the cloudflare dns (which I did a while ago for Minecraft) I used these 2 videos. Hopefully the application of the stuff in the video helps you out.

All good, I figured it all out and they all work now lmao; it wasn’t the router at all, it was the cloud ddns that was interfering with it, masking my public up, it was supposed to only be working for 1 specific port and ip but it actually did it to all of em, so both the palworld and terrraria server are working now, I appreciate all the help you have given me however, helped me in diagnosing the true problem so thanks again.

Forgive me for not responding recently, I had become really busy but am free now. To answer your first question, I did check with my ISP to see if they're blocking those ports and they were not. For your 2nd question: I am unsure quite honestly, but I have used a vpn and that did not suffice while connected to my current router, besides one instance a while back for a minecraft server, but I did think of the possible problem which I would like your input on. I have a "2nd router" (Not from my ISP) connected to my "main router" (From my ISP), and my server is connected to the "main router". Would the "2nd router" be possibly interfering with all these issues with my "main router"? Because the terraria server would not connect correctly unless I used my minecraft port, however, my minecraft port is being funneled through cloudflare, which is possibly the reason why it still functioned properly. I tested out my zomboid server again and that is not working, and just with the newly released palworld, it wasn't posting online again also, however it was indeed letting me connect to the world/server via lan. If this is the case, what would the possible solution be? I assume I would have to go log onto the "2nd router" and possibly port forward on that also? But even then, I am unsure what I would port forward besides what is currently already being port forwarded on the main router.

I see, thank you very much for the information and you are correct, about the terraria server portion, as I didn't really consider that it is indeed currently running off of one port. I'll leave the link (if that is allowed) to the website where I did see the multiple ports (https://portforward.com/terraria/). Now to specifically hone in on my issue then in regards to what I have done with the docker. Within the docker itself I have used the port 7777 as provided (ignore it being 25565 as that is what it currently is running on, but I had 7777 when I was attempting to make the docker/terraria server go online prior). Now within my actual network for port forwarding, it asks for the "Service entry" which is what ports I would open and tested with (again using the minecraft one currently, however, I had tried this port and it didn't work); I'll post a picture of how it looks but from left to right it is as follows: "service name" , "global port range" , "protocol", and "base port". Following the entry of this information, it would then ask what device is this needed by, which I then choose my server and then it would port forward for that device. The "device/server" does indeed work however as stated with my previous posts where Project zomboid works correctly along with the terraria server currently working with my minecraft port which all use the same "device/server". When I then open terraria and go onto the server, it does post, but only for some reason only on LAN, so it is functioning, but not letting others from different networks join it. I know it is somewhat redundant to figure out the problem if the server is currently working with my minecraft port, but it personally is bothering me that it isn't working with the correct port, and also that while this server is up, I cannot have my minecraft server up as well. Again, I thank you kindly for your time and generosity working with me and helping me learn, solving this and also learning I guess the terminology and definitions of the words presented to me is very helpful and hopefully from this experience I can better diagnose my future issues encountered in regards to the server.

Yes I believe I have found the issue, I found more ports that are used for Terraria that should be opened depending on it being either TCP or UDP so I will be testing that out later. Also Thank you for the clarification and follow up on Palworld; I wanted to ask another question(s) in relation to that. Is there a discord or a hub of documents/guides that show information for game dockers or a hub where these individuals are? I don't know what the "CA App" that you refer to is and would like to learn more about it through a discord community or detailed guides/videos like mentioned previously as I am new to Unraid and would like to open up my options to use my server and learn about the Unraid/Ca App community in general. I would gladly donate the game to individuals that help make these wonderful experiences possible. Thank you again for kindly helping me with all my questions, I greatly appreciate it and would like to know if there is a donation page you have as well.

Yes forgive me for the low amount of information, I was using the port required being 7777, and I have enabled port forwarding for it via my router which allowed for me to connect to it on my local network, but not my friends. The IP I used is the one for the unraid server, more specfically when the boot the docker, the one that is given on the right side. I found a temp solution however just running it via using my minecraft port and of course the ip is the same as well ( I have also hosted zomboid which worked properly, granted that I had to open different ports because one individual uses one port). As for the NAT type or what I assume what it is, I was tried using both TCP/UDP, however, it only wants to use TCP for some reason. I hope this information helps and also thank you for helping me with this, I appreciate it greatly. Also just a side note, I am unsure if I ask here or somewhere else as I am not Unraid savy in the slightest, but a game called Palworld is going to be released soon and was wondering if a docker could be made for it, if not, usually how long does it roughly take for someone to make a docker for a game? Thank you again and sorry for the long read.

Hey just had a quick question in regards to the terraria docker, I am trying to boot it up but I am unsure if other steps need to be taken, I have ensured that it is port forwarding on my router, however, my friends are unable to connect to it. I am able to connect to it via on my local network using the ip and port it is giving me, but I am unsure why they cannot.

Unraid server randomly shutting down.
Ah I see :(, , thank you so much for your help. I tried launching it in safe mode and maintenance mode but even though it did last for a longer amount of time, it would still crash. I am currently trying a new power supply on it, and then if that still makes it crash, then that means I most likely need to switch the cpu as it is a pretty old one.

Unraid server randomly shutting down.
I am sorry, I am trying to get it but am a little unsure, because how the problem persists is that I can access the gui regularly, and then after a certain prolonged amount of time, trying to load the page gives me a error, however, the tower itself (which is next to me) is on, the fans are running and everything, yet it would not let me access the website to mess with the server itself. Is there a specific way to get the syslog? Because again, after that freeze occurs and I can't access the server anymore, I just shut it down and back on to access it again.

Unraid server randomly shutting down.
Just tried something, so when I've waited for two hours now and it has yet to crash, and this is while I am launching it with maintenance mode, so it could be a problem with a docker, hope this possibly helps in narrowing it down.

syslog (1)sloppy-diagnostics-20230425-1305.zip These 2 files are more recent and actually occurred and let me log back into the gui smoothly, so these might be more useful then compared the my last post (but it might still not have any differences, I am unsure) hope this helps.

Unraid server randomly shutting down.
Hello, thank you for helping me with this, cause this has been having for a long time, and then for a good while I just gave up on it, but now I need to use it again very soon, so I appreciate all the help and guidance you are giving on the matter. It took a while for me to get the syslog as it wouldn't even let me access the unraid gui for a while, but thankfully I had selected the setting where it saved to the usb boot drive, so after a while I was able to get to it. sloppy-diagnostics-20230425-1257.zip syslog

Unraid server randomly shutting down.
Hello all, I am somewhat new to unraid, and am unfamiliar with it. I have been encountering a problem where basically the whole unraid server would become unresponsive anywhere ranging from 15 mins - 2 hours. The tower itself would still have power and be running, however, when I try to login to the unraid gui, the page itself is not responding. I know also that it is possible to upload a error doc, but I do not know how to figure out what could directly be the problem. If anyone is willing to help me in this matter, it is greatly appreciated.

Unraid question for IOMMU and Minecraft server setup
Yeah we already do have it set up as a docker, I didn't know initially how it worked but after messing with it a bit, it was up and running! Thank you.

Unraid question for IOMMU and Minecraft server setup
Hello, I am a new user to unraid so sorry if I am asking this kind of question here. I basically wanted to ask if I would need IOMMU to setup a minecraft server basically. The current specs of the pc that would host unraid/minecraft server uses a AMD FX-8320 and the motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3. When I was in the bios, there was a virtualization option which I had already enabled, however I could not find any option for IOMMU. I assume that it simply does not support it, so my question is would I need IOMMU just to host the server and do the basic needs for it such as editing its settings/mods. It would not be used in anyway to play as I would use my actual pc for that of course, the point is just to have a server up 24/7 for my friends and I to have access to. Thank you all in advance for helping me with this question!
