Hi There With Microsoft Windows 10 asking many to use there email account to log in could me change the username rules so that a email address will work as a user name so the log in continues to be seem less? example Username a password b now is Username [email protected] password b [email protected] right now is in valid and will not be created I think because of the @ and . can we change it so that it will work? thank you for your help. I rebooted reinstalled and reconfigured. Look like if I do things systimacily and slowly it works but can't rush a single step... Refresh browser.. Now it seems to work

If you can take the flash drive and do a check disk in a PC. I would the do a manual update and see if it works.. Looks like the file system can't be mounted. Might be a corrupt file. Hope this helps Thornwood

Well unmenu has lots of simple apps that you can use these in essence are like unmenu because they don't use the Official plugin style or integration. I am a avid user of unmenu and its apps as a back door for when the main page won't come up. And other low level tools.

Hi Peter Had a question, i just installed the latest server 64bit Plugin in to my Unraid 6.01 and it looks really good, i am doing testing and so far so good... only question i have is in the past you had a location to place the business name and address and other information in the plugin. the new one only has a very small line to place a bit of information. Would it be posable to tell me what file the old style was modifying or adding this functionality back in to the plugin. Sorry for the trouble thank you for all the help. Thornwood

I use several of these. The g2 will boot only from the SD slot if you want to use a micro as you will need a micro SD to ds card adapter. The g3 is black listed but if you want a free version it does boot but only to the micro SD slot. I hope I am more understandable. By the way it is not that they just won't boot it is that the Unraid name on the drive is not available causing a error that won't let Unraid run correctly. If you place a SD and a micro sd and try it you will see what I mean. Have a great day Thornwood

Yes just install screen from unmenu. Then telnet in and type screen, then in the new screen environment run the precleare command. Now if it disconnects it keeps running and it can be monitored by mymenu in unmenu. Thornwood

Hi I have a 11 drive main server and a 4 drive backup server. I am willing to beta but will I point the app to one server or the other can I run the app twice one for each server? P.s. Main is on 5.0.5 other is on 6beta3 waiting on some changes to plugins prior to going 6beta4 Thank you Thornwood

By the my wife has no idea of servers. Had her compare new GUI to Simple Features. She liked the new GUI for neatness but liked Simple Features for the user account page, and the settings page all else were a toss up. Like I said she knows nothing about the technical side she is just looking at the look of them. Thornwood

Here is my 2 cents. I just installed this on a to be sold server. I truly like the new style and the plug in page. The only thing is that the simple features plug in is not available on the page. others say Download this one is No plg file. Now I know I am just being picky but I need the email notify and other features it has so on my main I will stick to simple features I like there java plugin as well would like to see it come over. and finally I really like the system temp add on it makes it simple to see another way to look at the temp to compare with the disks. example if the MB temp is 50C I cant expect the HD to be colder. I use VIM 7.2 it has cool features like it makes backups of files and it shows files in color based on command routines. It can be used for all the UNIX and dos editing. Free too. As a plus it has a gui that teaches you VI commands.
