  1. Hello, I have multiple pools for examples: pool1 pool2 pool3 pool4 I want to keep pool2 and pool3 on and turn off pool1 and pool4, but turn on/off whenever needed. Can I do that? and how-to? Thanks much.
  2. same boat - just rolled back to XFS and speed normal now.
  3. Hello, I would like to create a one pool for all these drives using 6.12 rc8. How do I do this in GUI or maybe in command line? Thanks 5x3TB 9x4TB Thinking: 1) Using GUI to create a pool tank 5x3TB raidz 2) Using command line to add zpool add tank raidz /dev/sdra1 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 /dev/sdd1 /dev/sde1 (assume first 5x4TB) zpool add tank raidz /dev/sdrf1 /dev/sdg1 /dev/sdh1 /dev/sdi1 (assume last 4x4TB) Will this work? - any suggestions appreciated.
  4. Hello Friends, I am currently using (v6.11.5) btrfs in main array (9x4TB, 5x3TB and 7x2TB) with dual parity 2x4TB and mainly for media/videos stuff. 2x1TB btrfs pool for download stuff. 1TB nvme btrfs pool for docs/pics/videos stuff. 2x240GB SSD btrfs pool for cache. I am about to upgrade/convert my current configurations all to ZFS in RC6: Any suggestions how to layout all this especially without space loss as possible (multiple vdevs with raidz1?), I also have external back for all these. I just want one pool to rule all. - Thanks much.
  5. Is it easy to roll back to v6.11.5 if rc4 is not working right? or just wait for stable version - Thanks
  6. Hello, Currently I have a btrfs pool (v6.11.5) with the following drives: 8TB, 4TB, 3TB, 1TB, 1TB total 17TB in single mode (no worry I have backup for these) My question is: Can I do the same if I want to use zfs pool (in RC3)? Thank you.
  7. How should I setup zfs with these odd drives? 9 x 4TB 5 x 3TB 2 x 1TB (use for download stuff) 2 x 240GB SSD (cache) 1 x 1TB nvme (another cache) Thanks much
  8. Not sure what, maybe xfs overheads a brand new 4TB after format 28GB wasted (ouch) and I have 10 of these, so after format ~ 3TB wasted space. I went with btrfs instead.
  9. I have a drobopro current works fine in Windows using iscsi. I would like to hook it up to unraid ( I also have a USB to ethernet adapter that I want to use for drobopro and unraid). I have no idea how to setup it up. In Windows, I just connect drobopro ethernet to usb-ethernet and plugged it in Windows and it detected and worked. No clue how to do in unraid. Any help would be appreciated - thanks
