  1. This is probably a dumb question but I want to make sure I get it right. How do I know which letter to put? Is it the device name? ie sdb?
  2. Thank you for your quick reply! Forgive my ignorance but when I do that command shown, this is what I get. I cannot seem to book from the USB drive anymore. It is in the unassigned drives, but I'm unable to do anything with it mount: /x: special device /dev/sdX1 does not exist. dmesg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.
  3. Hello! This morning I installed the 7.3.1 update and set up dual internal boot drives that were previously my cache drives. I might have missed it or I was going too fast, but when I completed the change, the drives were just 1 TB boot drives and were not partitioned. I want to set up partitioned drives so I can still use these drives as my cache drives. However, I can't figure out how to change it now that the internal boot is already completed. What steps do I take to revert back, and set up the drives with partitions? Thank you in advance!
  4. Hello! Did you ever figure this out? This is exactly what I'm looking to do but I'm unsure of how to go about it properly. Thank you in advance!
  5. Hello! I have an odd situation I'm hoping to get help with. I'm currently in FL and I have a new system I'm setting up, running preclear on the new drive. It is currently on cycle 2 on the post read so it is almost done but still has like 15 hours to go. However, I'm worried about losing power due to the hurricane. What can I do? If I were to cancel the preclear and shut down the system, am I gonna have to run the preclear again? Thank you for any help!
  6. I was waiting until I heard back to add the drive but I figured since you said you were unsure, I just added it. It appears the message is just showing up but when I actually started the array, this time it only had me format and was added. I'm not sure what happened with the last one but it looks like it was fine this time. Thank you for your help!!
  7. @itimpi I made sure not to format it afterwards. It still has the preclear signature on it.
  8. Hello! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I've added two drives lately. The first, I put in the server and went through the preclear process with it unmounted. Once it finished, I stopped the array and added the disk. When I did this, it cleared the disk all over again. It was my understanding that doing the pre clear avoids this. I just added a second drive about a week ago. I've been preclearing it for that entire time and it finished this morning. The mount option is grayed out, and when I stop the array to add the drive, it says "this drive will need to be overwritten". I'm not entirely sure but I think the preclear option is formatting it to ZFS because the drive is named "Dev 1". However, I'm still learning and very ignorant about all this so forgive me if I'm wrong. How do I add the drive with preclear correctly? Thank you in advance for your help!

  10. Well that did it, thank you so much! I don't want to do it yet but when I want to open it to the outside world for my friends and I, would all I have to do is open the ports?
  11. Hello! I'm trying to start my own Ark Evolved Server with Docker and I'm having trouble removing battleye. I added -DisableBattlEye in the extra parameters but it doesn't seem to disable. I can't find it in the config files either. How do I disable this? Thank you in advance!
  12. Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same problem and I can't figure it out. It literally won't write to any single drive I have at all
  13. I'm not positive but this leads me to believe they know the answer is going to be that is cost more so they don't want to tell you before so we have to pay more when they change it. Kind of frustrating
  14. I believe they were asking about upgrade pricing in the future for current license holders
  15. I'm not sure if this has already been asked for forgive me but for people who currently have the basic, will the price change when I eventually want to upgrade to the pro license or should I go ahead and upgrade? I'm relatively new to Unraid but I absolutely love the software and I'm already up to 5 drives. I know eventually I wanted to switch to the Pro license but wasn't intending to do it for a while. Thank you for the work y'all do!
