this would fix the entire issue.
No, it doesn't.

If it's not a bug I'll leave it, but I find it a very weird design choice.
There are very valid reasons why it is designed this way
- Reading disk attributes (including temperature) can negatively impact the normal reading/writing of the disk. The temperature reading is done at a much lower interval with its own timer setting as reading the other disk statistics to keep impact on normal operation as low as possible.
- Reading disk attributes may spin up a disk, that's why attributes are never read once a disk is spun down. The moment a disk becomes 'active' the aforementioned timer is started to read temperature with minimal interference.

Please boot your system in safe mode and retest

"svcs_restarted" occurs each time a change in shares happens. This also restarts samba to reflect the new situation (i.e. share was added, or share was deleted, or share was renamed).
When you programmably add or remove a share, the above event fires. You can use this to do further actions.
-
The event "svcs_restarting" does not exist... (I believe this is true for 6.6, 6.5 and 6.4 releases)
-
Don't know if the event name changed, but 6.6 is using "svcs_restarted" not "svcs_restarting".
# svcs_restarted # Occurs during cmdStart execution. # Occurs as a result of changing/adding/deleting a share. # The network services are started and may be exporting different share(s).

Manual update vom RC2 worked without any problems so far. But same issue as before, RC3 didnn't showed up in the update section. I only see the status as "unknown". Can't figure it out where my issues are. AWS download servers are reachable within the browser. Nothing gets blocked from my PFsense box. I appreciate any advice.
To verify Internet connectivity a test is done to open "http://www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt"
Check if this test is not blocked on your firewall and the name can resolve.
Note: this test was introduced in rc1 instead of a 'ping' test, and is the same test Windows 10 performs to check Internet status.

VMS: Mmmhh.. Sound-Card DropDownField hidden after "None" set....?
Bug. Made a correction.

The actual vdisk image was not created when a VM update is done with a new vdisk entry added. Made a correction.

Thanks. Correction made.

Waiting for that promised proper Login page so that a Password Manager can be used...
Promised?

I am not familiar with all the plugins you have installed and hopefully others can comment.
The dynamix plugins are all compatible as I keep them up to date with the latest Unraid versions.
If nothing else works, it becomes a matter of elimination: start with none and install plugins until the culprit is found.

Thanks. Corrected this.
As your video shows, this 'bug' was already introduced in the 6.5.x series (can't remember exactly which version).
It took you a while to "discover" it
-
Thanks. Corrected this plus usernames and descriptions may have longer lengths before truncating.

One of your plugins is interfering. Which ones do you have installed?

As always happy to test or provide more information if required. Have looked at the logs and couldn't see anything relevant or useful.
You can make this a separate topic and further steps can be done in there.

It is not clear to me what you do to get this error.
Can you post screenshots of your actions. Thanks

it seems to break when i swapped menus too quickly from main to VM's and back
For testing purposes I swapped menus a dozen times to the extreme, but never experienced a break.
Side note: a full restart of the GUI requires "rc.nginx restart" and "rc.php-fpm restart"
(make sure all your browser sessions are closed before restarting)

reboot seems to resolve the issue
Good it's working again, but we won't have a clue of what happened.
My system is up for nearly 4 days and rc2 is happily running and the GUI still is lightning fast.
-
Thanks for reporting. I made a correction for that.
-
All normal here.
Perhaps another plugin interfering? Start in safe mode and check again.
-
The error happens because of the dot character in "XPEnology 6.1".
I need to fix that, as a temp workaround change the name without the dot.
-
Strange, it should accept without error. I need to investigate.

ok, same screen but before you press Apply (I like to see all the assignments)

Please provide your XML file and tell which custom settings are lost.
CPU pinning only touches the CPU assignment section and all other settings should stay as is.
