  1. Thanks @ich777 the time you take to answer questions like these even when not specifically the domain of your plugin is very much appreciated.
  2. Sorry for quoting my own post in the hope of getting a reply. @ich777 is this something that's possible with this plugin?
  3. Hi, I've been running this plugin for ages and it's working great, I can use my GPUs (2*1080s and a 3070) in various containers, all peachy. However, I'm trying to setup games on whales 'wolf': Quickstart :: Games On Whales and stuck at this line: "One last final check: we have to make sure that the nvidia-drm module has been loaded and that the module is loaded with the flag modeset=1" Is it possible to set that with this plugin? And if so, how? The quickstart talks about updating Grub which I'm not sure is applicable to unraid?
  4. See attached image, it's a link in the release notes on the unraid dashboard.... I don't know if it's cached or something after being downloaded from the docs?
  5. Sorry, that title is a bit aggressive but....honestly! So the new update has exciting news about the API, which is great....unless you actually try to read the docs about it. First off the API is open source, and you can read about it here: https://github.com/unraid/api which is lovely. So you go to github and scroll down until you find 'how to use the API' which....goes to a 404: https://github.com/unraid/api/blob/main/api/docs/public/how-to-use-the-api.md Okay, so back to the release announcement, because there's another link that says 'get started in the API docs'! except....that link also goes to a 404, because there's a typo in the link!! it goes here: docs.unraid.net instead of here: docs.unraid.net These aren't massive issues....but they're the sort of thing that make the project look amateurish and put people off using it.
  6. Sorry if this has been asked before, I did look but didn't see it.... Is it possible to set 'backup' and 'update' seperately for each container? I have one container that I don't want to update automatically (because I know it breaks things) but I do want to update the rest, and I also want all the containers (including the 'don't update' one) to be backed up. Currently I think I can only exclude a container from both update & backup together? Or I can turn updates off entirely and backup all containers.
  7. Amazing, it was exactly that, thank you kind sir!
  8. Yeaah, it's not in the devices list at all. It shows in the drives at the bottom of that screen, and it shows in 'unassigned devices' but doesn't appear in system devices at all. (if you right click on the image you can open it in a new tab and then zoom in to read it :) ) Diagnostics attached tower-diagnostics-20250701-1825.zip
  9. Hi, I'm trying to bind an NVME to VFIO and having a problem in that the NVME doesn't show up in any IOMMU group at all. I've tried all 3 options for 'ACS override' and still doesn't show up, although it appears in 'unassigned devices' fine and I can mount / unmount it fine there. Screenshot of my 'system devices' attached.
  10. Just upgraded to 7.0.0 and had a couple of hiccups. During the upgrade it stalled at 'updating 3rd party drivers' which I've seen a few other people had problems with. I left it for a few hours, no progress so I sighed, took a backup of my flash drive and rebooted and..... it came up fine. Took a while to boot, but got there. Now however, whenever I click on 'vms' in the main menu, the interface crashes. Just straight up stops responding. I have to restart PHP-fpm to get it going again. What's the best way to get support for this?
  11. I'm unable to get this working for my setup. I have 4 Nvidia GPUs, no integrated. I can passthrough 3 of the GPUs no problem, the ones in slot 2, 3 & 4 but the primary GPU doesn't show under 'System devices' at all. Ideally I want to passthrough the first 3 and not the last one (because this is in a x4 slot, I want to use it for object detection in containers) I've looked in the Bios and there's no setting for 'make this pcie slot the primary one' so the x16 slots always show up first and I guess something is grabbing the primary GPU awhich means VFIO can't use it.
  12. Hi @ich777 first off, thanks for these great plugins. For the unraid prometheus exporter, is there any way to include the disk temperatures? I presume they're part of the SMART data rather than the hardware temperatures (the CPU & motherboard temps are included in the prometheus export).
