  1. Hi This is my first time making changes like this, so I wanted to mention that upfront. I followed the official changelog for File Browser v2.33.0 and updated both the JSON file (renamed it from filebrowser.json to settings.json) and the container XML template accordingly. I also updated the descriptions and volume mappings to reflect the new structure—especially the database path (/database/filebrowser.db) and the need to keep config and database files in the same directory with correct ownership. I’m not entirely sure how to properly test everything in a real-world setup, so I’d really appreciate it if someone could review the files before actually accepting or merging the changes. Just want to make sure I didn’t overlook anything. Thanks a lot in advance!
  2. Same issue. Fresh install. Seems to be related to: Update: Went through the Reddit post and executed the commands as mentioned in this post: First step is unnecessary. After running the commands It seems to be working.
  3. If I notice any issues I'll redo that specific container. Thanks again for the quick reply and massive help.
  4. Hi itimpi Thanks for the tip. After rebooting I ran "Tools -> New Permissions" with the option for shares except appdata Hoping this fixes my mistake. Thanks again.
  5. Hi all As stated in the title I accidentally ran "chmod -R 744 /" in the CLI for 1-2 seconds. Is there any way to fix this without having to redo everything? Symptoms started to show that I cannot access a share from Windows anymore. Not sure if the "Tool -> New Permission" can fix this And yes I know. Always check what's being entered and make sue you know what you are doing. That doesn't help with "fat finger syndrome" where you hit enter instead of backspace If I have to reinstall everything, what is my best course of action? I have some docker containers and plugins installed that I don't really want to redo all over again. Thanks for helping a dummy like me. OS Version is: 6.12.10
