[7.3.1] GUI repeatedly dying - nchan hang causing kernel D-state, local-kv.db corruption
Hadn't even considered that, before having this server as headless I was keeping it updated, current version is BIOS dated: Thu 26 Sep 2024 12:00 AM but there is an update available. IK'm going to have to gran Keyboard Mouse and monitor and update as there is a new version available. Can you confirm then you can't see any software cause for the issue?

[7.3.1] GUI repeatedly dying - nchan hang causing kernel D-state, local-kv.db corruption
Hardware: MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WiFi, 13900K, 64GB RAM Symptoms: GUI becomes unresponsive, SSH still works rc.nginx restart hangs on "Stopping nchan processes" pkill -9 nginx hangs — processes in D-state Only recoverable via SysRq reboot Deleting local-kv.db temporarily fixes but corruption returns Kernel bug seen in dmesg: BUG: scheduling while atomic: swapper/2/0/0x00000000 Have been trouble shooting with the help of Claude, should have came here first but here I am now. I managed to get Diagnostics zip if that helps? tower-diagnostics-20260619-2000.zip

Unraid GUI and partial network seems to go unresponsive.
I've been suffering the same issue too. Always seems to happen in the middle of the night. I can SSH in for a while but eventually that locks up too and I have to power cycle

'unmountable:wrong or no file system' on unraid after updating 7.1.4
Noticed I hadn't updated for a while, seen 7.1.4 was available followed the on-screen prompts. When the WEBUI was available noticed all drives in array had the above error. I would really appreciate help getting this back up and running ASAP I don't want to try and tinker and make it worse! unraid-7.1.4.txt domain.cfg nvme.cfg downvme.cfg docker.cfg i915.conf editor.cfg super.dat ident.cfg network.cfg go.txt disk.cfg listen.txt ST18000NM001J-2TV113_ZR59A5XV-2025-02-25 disk1 (sdb).txt Fanxiang_S501Q_2TB_FXS501Q234930374-2025-02-25 nvme (nvme0).txt Fanxiang_S500PRO_2TB_FXS500PRO231536919-2025-02-25 downvme (nvme2).txt ST16000NM001J-2TW113_ZRS0DHXZ-2025-02-25 disk3 (sdd).txt SanDisk_Cruzer_Blade_03002220032024074030-0-0-2025-02-25 flash (sda).txt ST16000NM001J-2TW113_ZR5311X9-2025-02-25 disk2 (sdc).txt Fanxiang_S660_2TB_FX2318018638-2025-02-25 nvme2 (nvme1).txt nvme.1e4b-46585335303151323334393330333734-46616e7869616e6720533530315120325442-00000001-2025-02-25 nvme (nvme0).txt nvme.1e4b-465832333138303138363338-46616e7869616e67205336363020325442-00000001-2025-02-25 nvme2 (nvme1).txt nvme.1e4b-46585335303050524f323331353336393139-46616e7869616e67205335303050524f20325442-00000001-2025-02-25 downvme (nvme2).txt ST18000NM000J-2TV103_ZR5292PZ-2025-02-25 parity (sde) - DISK_INVALID.txt cmdline.txt btrfs-usage.txt gpujson.txt drm.txt plugins.txt motherboard.txt iommu_groups.txt ntp.txt aspm-status.txt ethtool.txt folders.txt sshd.txt lsmod.txt lsscsi.txt loads.txt testparm.txt memory.txt lspci.txt meminfo.txt lsusb.txt urls.txt top.txt servers.conf.txt vars.txt lscpu.txt lsof.txt df.txt ifconfig.txt graphql-api.txt syslog-previous.txt syslog.txt appdata.cfg domains.cfg n--------------p.cfg isos.cfg system.cfg d--a.cfg shareDisks.txt n-------d.cfg p-----------h.cfg n------n.cfg

MACOS webui constantly non responsive
I don't know why but I had tried absolutely everything except look at my router. I swapped out my ISP provided router for my old dusty one sitting in a box, you would never believe! All the access issues gone. It's a game changer for me. I was having to RDP into another machine just to access uR. Very happy now.

MACOS webui constantly non responsive
Oh man I am still having this issue. I know it's not an unraid thing, I know it's my Mac but I just can't get it to go away. Doesn't matter want browser Shares always work even when the browser won't load accessing the gui from windows/ubuntu 'just works' I've spent hours with ChatGPT trouble shooting. This is honestly infuriating. Are there any wizards that have any random suggestions over what might be causing this?

Single NVME for downloads
Thanks. Yes so I set up a single drive share and it works great for temp download. I let qb and nzbd move the files to the array once completed.

Single NVME for downloads
Using unRAID as a seedbox media server. have used the TrashGuide for set up. currently have; 2 x 2TB NVME as cache 4 x HDD array I experience massive lag/slow downs when downloading via UseNet and Torrent. Would I benefit from adding a 3rd NVME just for downloads and would it work in context of TrashGuide. Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question.

MACOS webui constantly non responsive
Could well be! It's brand new though, haven't had a Mac on the LAN for a couple of years, very frustrating. I went to make a video earlier showing the problem and it was snappy, it's so sporadic!!!!

MACOS webui constantly non responsive
Got a reminder to come back and post. Issue hasn't been resolved, for whatever reason accessing unraid from Windows using any browser is instant using MACOS any browser is sluggish and sometimes times out.

Plex not seeing all series folders within /media/tv/
So out of about 30 shows only 7 show. From within Plex if I change the view to folder I can verify Plex only sees 7 folders. JellyFin on Unraid can see everything. Plex on my MacMini pointed at the media share can see all the folders. Permissions on the folders and the files are the same, why is it broken?

MACOS webui constantly non responsive
One thing I learned about today was tower.local, I was up to this point using IP address only to access the server. FireFox also ran into the same issues btw. Hoping access via tower.local makes a diff. But I will dutifully report back with my findings!

MACOS webui constantly non responsive
Just installed FF, so far so good but the unresponsiveness is completely at random so will report back. Assuming this is a browser issue, is there anything I should be looking for? Safari Version 18.1.1 (20619.2.8.11.12) MacOS 15.1.1 (24B2091)
