  10. Does my dream case exist? My mobo and my two sata cards give me a total of 16 sata connectors. My current case can only hold 14 drives (12x 3,5" 2x 2,5" hdd's) If i wasn't on a budget i would buy a Coolermaster Cosmo II in a heartbeat. http://www.coolermaster.com/case/full-tower/cosmos-2/ I kinda like the nanoxia deep silent 6 rev b also. But there might be a problem with air intake behind the top door. (if a 4in3 drive cage is mounted) http://nanoxia-world.com/en/products/cases/deep-silence-series/deep-silence-6-rev.-b/209/deep-silence-6-rev.-b-dark-black?c=40 I have had Antec before, and got quite exited when i saw the price point on the Antec 1900. But this case get's so bad reviews that it has scared me away. http://www.antec.com/product.php?id=706725&fid=4&lan=us I've tried to find alternatives, but haven't had any luck. I would like to re-use the 4in3 drive cage, but it isn't a must. what i'm looking for is a case with. - Good airflow - 10x 3,5" internal drive bays + 3x 5,25" bays that can be converted to the 4in3 cage (isn't an ultimate demand) 2x 2,5" bays (have 1x 2,5" SSD i use as a cache drive) - A case that's on the european market - Side mounted drive bays, have been a real nice thing on my current case. I'm not looking for top to bottom front hot swap drive bays. Internal bays will do just fine. My system at the moment. 12. Got a USB 3.0 to RJ45 gigabit adapter. And it improved the transfer rate.
  13. Halfway there. The new CPU is installed.
  14. I've made a mess. I was trying to setup docker, but have made multible folders in the process. First made disc10 the location. Thankfully i was able to delete this by using til appdata clean tool. But i really f***** it up by making a folder under a user share. /mnt/user/BACKUP , i've been looking through the system, and it seems like only disc 8 has the folder. Disc 8 is permantly spun up, the others are spun down when the system is idle. I've tried to delete the folders on disc 8 but i get this error message. Access to the folder is made by enableing discs shares, then open disc 8 in windows 10 browser and trying to delete the folder. But i'm getting the attached error. Translated. There's denied access to the folder You need permission to do the action. you must obtain permission from unix\999 to make changes to the folder Hope someone can give me a hint to getting rid of this folder. Thank you
  15. Ah! that way! It makes perfect sence. Thank you.
  16. This would indicate you would benefit from a (SSD recommended) cache drive. No long delay while the array wakes up just to browse your catalog in Plex (dockers installed on cache drive). Also improves your upload speed to the server as files sit on cache drive until moved (you set schedule) to the share(s) on the array. The only delay, if using a cache drive, will be when loading the show you choose (assuming disk where show is stored is spun down) and then it's only couple seconds. Yes it does seem like a cache drive is a 'must have' Find the mover script great. But need to work out how mover knows where to put the different files. Let's say I put 1 movie 2 episodes from one tv series 3 episodes from another tv series. How does mover know which share to move the file to? Sendt fra min Nexus 6P med Tapatalk
  17. I've pretty much done exactly as you have written. Updated to unRAID 6.1.9 directly from the previous version. Thanks to this guide http://www.lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrading_to_UnRAID_v6 Got my hands on a used ivy i5-3570k CPU, so there should be enough horsepower Have installed Plexmediaserver, and getting to know how it works. Gonna keep the 2 x 4 GB RAM for now. Have ordered a 128 GB SSD disc to try out if cache is something for me. If not i might use it as the folder to store dockers and other stuff.
  18. The HX750i and the Seasonic X 750 cost the same. So i it comes to that, i'm gonna go with the Seasonic. But i can't complain with my CX 600 v2, it has worked flawless the last 3 years.
  19. Try settings ==> network settings ==> Set DNS to 8.8.8.8 I had a DNS setting from the old system, but moved DNS 1 to DNS 3, and entered 8.8.8.8 in the DNS 1 box. And the plugin's now run. But does my change have any other effect?
  20. I'm trying to install it. But i'm getting 'Network failure" I've just updated to version 6.1.9 (from 5.0.rc16) The system is running the first parity check in the background. Any pointers to where i should look to fix the issue?

This is going to be installed as soon as the part gets here. Have ordered a WD 30EZRZ, gonna be precleared and stored as a hot spare, ready for duty Have ordered a Intenso 128 GB SSD, gonna try out using a Cache drive Have ordered a USB 3.0 to RJ45 Gigabit adapter to my Laptop. Future plans. Get Plex mediaserver up and running. Get to learn and use some of the applications See if the cache drive thing is something for me.
  22. I've checked the Mobo's CPU support list. 1155 Core i5 i5-3570K(E0) Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz BCLK 100MHz 6MB 77W P1.20 Support from bios version 1.20, i'm on version 1.80 Have allready bourght the CPU. I'm with you on the gigabit thing. Gonna get on of those dongles. Beside the transfer issue, i wanted to update the system to make sure that future PLEX transcoding will run smoothly. That will not be the case if i kept the Celeron CPU. I'm still between chairs, when it comes to the PSU. The calculation is based on http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12219.0 CX 600 v2 Has 46A Mobo 5A = 41A 7x 7200 HDD’s 21A = 20A 4x greens HDD’s 8A = 12A There is a slot free in the drive bay, gonna keep it as a preclear garage for now. The first of my green’s from the original setup has been swaped, do to a high read error count. Have the feeling that some of the other green’s may go the same way in the near future. No headroom calculated, no cache disc and (a bit) locked to green(blue) drives in the future, to be on the safe side. Or is the calculation outdated?

  24. Ive found an i5-3570K on the danish eBay site (DBA) When i look at my mobo CPU support page it's listed as supported and that it's an Ivy. The seller is asking 850 dkk / 129 $ / 115 euro (used, with CPU fan) Found the retail price i Denmark to be 1523 dkk / 231 $ / 205 euro The Passmark is 7141
