    Norco 4224 Thread

Just contact Norco. They are one of the best companies I have dealt with when it comes to making the customer happy after they get a damaged product.

  3. See, now that one is nice. All the ones I have laying around have a thicker middle that made it impossible to gett in and maneuver in those holes. In the end I made it work, but now I am stuck on the SS-500 holes lining up. Any Ideas?
  4. I've got something similar to this. Then have a ratcheting bar "c" clamp. Love them. The problem though is the fact that the motherboard side is almost fully enclosed and you cant get a C-clamp in there for the rear flaps.
  5. Raj- With the 20 Drive Tower, were you able to line up the Norco SS-500 screwholes with the Antec Screwholes? I am having a bugger of a time lining them up. Of course now that I finally got all the tabs flattened (had to use 3 different sized C-clamps) Thanks
  6. Bah, this is the response I thought I was going to get, but was hopeful. Oh Well.
  7. Which is going for 160-185 + shipping. So around that price. I'm sure if I can do one, I can do the other as well. Just working out a price with them, I just want to know where people sit when I am negotiating a price. And how much interest there is as I would need to get quite a few. --Not 1000... lol.
  8. The reason I am asking is I am currently in contact with Sharkoon and we are working out a possible deal to get some shipped over here. I am looking at what people would pay to see if it is worth the trouble.

  10. Question to all interested in this case. How much would you pay for this case if it was available in the US? Hypothetically.
  11. The 4460 has a built in backup battery and has more units of messure.
  12. Not sure where you are located, but I found it in the CM Store for Europe. The US store is down for maintanence, so unsure if it is available there Europe: http://www.coolermaster.nl/shop/product_info.php?cPath=59&products_id=285
  13. You could run a double at command. Have your command wait to run the first command till the next full minutes, then another at command kicks off 10 minutes later. Example: Run command @ 12:01:35 Command waits to run until 12:02:00 Next command runs at 12:12:00
  14. Kizer is connect to a PogoPlug from an unRAID system.
  15. Only devices plugged into the rear USB ports are accessable from the internet. So unless you figure out a way to plug your unRAID server into this via USB, its pretty much a no go.
  16. I am actually running preclear on my drives as well and 3 of them are at 23 degrees and the forth is at a scorching 24 degrees. lol.
  17. Nah, it says goo till the 26th, but I believe you have to be signed up for email notifications for those codes to work on your account.
  18. You were stating you were going to use a single cable for each molex. That is why I said it would be a tight fit. As far as the temps, you are using 7200 hard drives and they are going to run alot hotter than the green drives.
  19. I was talking in regards to his automation of ripping disk media to ISOs. He states he has hundreds. Plop all of them in the machine and come back the next day and they are all in ISO format at the location of choice. In regards to the storage location, unRAID baby!
  20. Well, I tried those two settings before and only checked the BIOS and saw all of them appearing as IDE, and it would not boot, but I fixed the no boot part and now when I go into unRAID they all read as they should. What a weird motherboard. Thanks guys. Starting preclear.... again.
  21. Changing it to AHCI made the system not boot. Went back into BIOS and saw all drives reading as IDE and the only drive I could select to boot from was one of the data drives and no longer the USB. I am beginnning to hate this board.
  22. Well, I stopped the current run of preclear and went into the BIOS to check and this is what it shows (* = current setting) OnChip SATA Channel -Enabled* Disabled OnChip SATA Type - Native IDE* RAID AHCI Legacy IDE IDE->AHCI SATA IDE Combined Mode - Enabled* Disabled SATA-III Mode - Auto* Force Max Gen2
  23. Hmmm, never changed anything in the BIOS, and all drives are conected to the MB SATA ports. Only thing I see as different about this drive is its port, all the others are sda, sdb, sdc, sdd and this one is hda. Kinda torked now too as my kid decided he wanted to play a game on the PC I had the Telnet sessions going on and rebooted the PC. Gotta start them all over now.
