    Well, the plugin was born out of my own requirements, which it has suited just fine for me. It has evolved during this time and perhaps the common usage scenarios are different, but I wouldn't go as far as to give it a "Bad UI" rating. If you don't like it, I do welcome suggestions and have implemented almost all (I think) of what I've received in the forums.

    Ok, v2.3.1 is now available on both stores (or should be pretty soon) This is a maintenance release: - Fix issue where the app hangs after invoking a server operation - Update network stack - Add debug logic Also in this release: - General improvements and bug fixes It should help troubleshoot some connection issues.

    I've just submitted for review an app update. It fixes the issue with the app hanging when invoking an operation. Also some additional debug logic. I'll post back when it's available in the stores.

    Hi Smith8154, Can you try setting manual timeout to something higher ? Also, can you access unRAID's webGUI from a browser on your iPhone ? If you do, is there any delay accessing it ? I'm updating the network stack of the app, and adding some debug profiling. I hope to make it available by next week.

    kagorus, ok Please run find "/mnt/disk1/Series/Series/Series/." -exec stat --format "%A|%U:%G|%F|%n" {} \; Don't send me the output, it could be quite big. But can you check if you get any permission denied errors ? I'm guessing some files below those B, C, etc folders have some permission issues.

    Upped timeout to 10,000 for auto and manual. Manual just goes back to the empty server screen and auto skips my server's IP as if the timeout setting is 0? I also attempted this with timeout of 0, same result. unRAID 6.2.4 ok, I'll send you a pm to troubleshoot this.

    Hi kagorus, I looked at the code and tbh, I shouldn't make it 'crash' on that line. Having said that, it's getting a permission denied when trying to get the files for /mnt/disk1/Series/Series/Series. Can you post the complete output for ls -al /mnt/disk1/Series/Series/Series ? Feel free to pm if you prefer.

    I am having this exact same issue. Latest iOS and iPhone 6s. Can you assist? I Spent $8 It just go es back an empty server list when I attempt to add the server manually. When I attempt to add it automatically it "skips" the ip address of my unRaid server? Yes the ControlR plugin is running. Hi jakeandchase, Can you try increasing the timeouts in the settings ? Also, try setting manual timeout to 0 and add the server manually. What unRAID version are you running ?

    I wouldn't think that the tilde has something to do, but the filename too long error maybe did. As for rebalance, not sure ... probably look into consld8 (https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=36201.0) ?

    Hi rmeaux, Do you get any warnings when running calculate (especially on the unRaid/Videos folder) ? Is unBALANCE the only app/plugin writing to disks ? Maybe you have couchpotato, mover, nzbget, etc running in the background ? Other than that, maybe a double check on the health of the source disk ?

    Well, it's still a parity-protected write, I believe those speeds are good in general, unless you get higher speeds when you write to any of your disks (say to a user share).

    Trebron74, ok. The iOS app should be able to connect to the server even if the plugin isn't installed, but let's take it a step at a time, since there's an issue with the plugin authentication. I'll send you a pm, since I need some specific info about your setup.

    v1.8.6 is available ! 2016-12-11 - 1.8.6 - Account for setuid, setgid and/or sticky bit This fixes an issue that crashed the app when files/folders had setuid, setgid and/or sticky bit set in the permissions. Thanks to Bizmo for helping troubleshoot this.

    Hi Trebron74, exactly what isn't working ? From what you mention I believe it's the plugin that doesn't work right ? If that's the case, would you mind posting on the plugin thread (https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=53062.0) to troubleshoot over there ? Otherwise, could you expand on what's not working in the iOS app ? Not sure what that is.
