  1. Damn! I need to do something about this, the worst thing is recently noticed 3 plex streams maxing out both cpus. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. This is my current usage but don't know how accurate these smart life smart plugs are. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. Found the setting and updated my signature, I need to upgrade as I believe my rig is using atleast 8 year old hardware
  4. Logged on laptop to see your sig but wasnt there lol might be the theme I am using. Looks like my replies aren't adding my sig either. I will have a look at Domoticz
  5. Not seeing signatures for some reason, what are you using to log?
  6. Here's a slightly different angle on the question what is considered a reasonable amount of power consumption? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. I pretty much always enable srt subs but it's only recently iv seen it. Dual xeons 12 core 24 threads with 24gb ram. Disks speeds are fine AFAIK but wondering if its because the disks were spun down. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. For some annoying reason recently I keep getting server not powerful enough message. I did eventually change my plex to transcode to ram rather than ssd but looking at stats I'm not hitting anywhere near using the 24gb ram. Hoping it's just a version thing and will be fixed in a next update. Has anyone else experienced the same? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. Happy new year folks. I am looking for something more update to date and power efficient currently running MB: Supermicro - X8DT3 CPU: Intel[emoji2400] Xeon[emoji2400] CPU E5645 @ 2.40GHz x2 RAM: 24GB ECC But daily power usage is around 4 KW.h and as the system is running 24/7 its just no longer practical. So for 2019 I will be looking to upgrading motherboard and cpu and dropping the ECC ram. Hopefully I can just lift and shift and everything will continue to work. Any suggestions for a good combo would be welcome. No interest in gaming and must be suitable for 2u supermicro chassis. Main requirementa are to have high passmark for plex, run a couple of VMs and be more power efficient than what I currently have. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. That did the trick! Many thanks and have a great new year!!
  11. This has been asked a few times and 75% sure I know what the issue is but might be wrong... So here goes I have VM on Unraid 6.6.6 in the template Network Bridge is set to "virbr0" which puts it on the following ip 192.168.122.139 and the gateway is 192.168.122.1. Win10 Pro, RDP enabled and allowed through firewall but my unraid server is on 192.168.1.3 and I am currently on another machine that uses VPN to access unraid so its not allowing me access. I think the VM needs to be on same gateway as unraid which will allow me to access it using RDP on my laptop? I cheked the network settings and its not set to public, file discovery is enabled but once I am on the VM it doesn't see anything else and I cannot even map network shares. I am guessing if im on the same network I should just be able to enter 192.168.122.139 and it will work but because I am using VPN to access the network to access a VM its not playing ball? The only other thing I can think of is I might need to do some changes on my Asus router to allow the connection but leaning towards to a VM config. Any help would be great :)
  12. If you are running unbalance. I am assuming you moving your media and plex is constantly scanning your library. Probably best to stop your docker until whatever you are moving is done. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  13. This is something that has been bugging me a bit, so I thought I would check to see what others users power consumption looks like and see if whether I can improve anything. I currently have supermicro system with 1200w redundant power supply. Total overkill for me but got a great deal on a refurb system on ebay. Currently it looks I am using around 4.25(KW.h) a day according to the smart plug its connected to. Would be interesting to see what others users are using who run their system 24/7 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Also most modern routers from asus, netgear, tp link etc allow you to plug in your printer too if its USB only and share it over your network.
  15. Hi started using this a bit more now that I have the space again, noticed some shows will download, move when completed and update in plex, but in Sonarr it still shows eg 0/30 but it seems random and only with some shows eg Cosmos (2014) anyone experienced similar?
  16. Strangely enough that worked! But I thought /user/appdata was the same as /cache/appdata/ Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. I have my appdata on my ssd with the cache set to to preferred. Would it be worth trying a new user share not on the ssd? The weird thing for me is CP, Sabnzbd, Plex, Sonarr and Transmission all running perfectly fine. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  19. I get the same with binhex so it's got be either unraid or docker. I did copy everything over from an old USB could there be something on boot drive that needs clearing. 25. Hi Guys, Since upgrading my server and getting everything up and running, I am thinking of doing some house keeping and moving some folders about from usershares. Currently my whole movie collection is in /mnt/user/Downloads/Movies/ Where as all my TV Shows are in /mnt/usr/Videos/TV Shows/ Everything is already mapped but would just look neater I guess if I had all the movies in /mnt/usr/Videos/Movies/ or even replace Videos to Media folder. Any tips on the fastest way to achieve this or am I just overthinking it. Also don't want to end up with duplicates or confuse Plex. I guess /mnt/usr/Downloads/ should be for all downloads awaiting processing by CP or Sonarr.
