    In for 4 more today as i feel good putting a drive in that is less likely to fail, or at least one that i feel is less likely to fail. Starting preclears on the original 4.

    Amazon raised their price. Looks like you can still get it on B&H. A little tempted to put 2 in my gaming box for the 3500 steam games i have since its 7200 and as far as i know the 7200 doesn't help with slower drives in unraid box.

    Im just going to get the 6gb internal seagates for 199 from amazon, quite a bit more expensive but i know they work (for around 3 years according to backblaze) - its so damn hard to choose a drive and not spend top dollar.

    Brit, thanks for your help - This is what ended up working for me specifically. Add a windows credential - internet address: Tower username: computername\username password:password I got hung up just putting the username in without the computer name first, i found the format by looking at a few different shares. I'm quickly realizing what a great and knowledgeable person you are Brit. Thanks very much!

    It was not 1 click on a trial version. I can do it now with the following clicks - Main, Boot Device, then click on the word flash on the left. I understand it now, but it was suggested that i post to address it. It wasn't that apparent to me as a completely new person. Thankfully i got help in the irc channel.

    I am quite new here, but am wondering how i solve this problem, I have an email address as a user name on a couple of windows 8.1 machines on my network - I can't create a user in unraid beta 6-12 to set up a share that is secure. Am i missing something or can anyone suggest a solution for this while still using that f'd up windows username?

    I had a problem locating the usb guid to try and purchase via the instructions on the web page. I am using 6.0-beta12 and am a complete newb but i think its not adequately located in the instructions on purchasing. I found it here with the help of someone in the irc channel. - http://TOWER:80/Main/Flash?name=flash - its about 5 clicks in and could be an obstacle for others in purchasing. Thanks. More specific instructions would help.
