  1. Thanks Paul! Glad to hear all is well. The server is possibly pending as of tonight, but I'm not certain yet. Moving data off now and getting 100MB/s to my new laptop. These past few years I've been using my old desktop and only getting 30MB/s and thought that was all the server could do. Oh well... Somebody will be getting a fast server.
  2. Sorry, not willing to part out any drives form the server at this time.
  3. Price dropped. $200 shipped to USA. Moving overseas and need this gone ASAP.
  4. Price dropped to $650 shipped to the lower 48 US states. Moving overseas and need this gone ASAP.
  5. I'm currently in Fort Worth and I'm happy to meet in the DFW area or perhaps farther if needed. I still have the case's box so I can ship this as well at buyer's expense. Can provide any logs or screenshots you need. Only error is a UPS connection lost since I'm not using a UPS and it doesn't affect the operation of the server. All data will be removed from the server prior to selling. Ready to run, turnkey server that I have been using reliably for years. I can accept payment via Paypal, Venmo, Square, and Zelle. [SOLD] $650 shipped to the lower 48 US states. Moving overseas and need this gone ASAP. unRAID 5.0 Final Corsair CX500 PSU | 3 x iStarUSA 5-in-3 Hot Swap Cages JetWay JHZ03-GT-V2-LF Motherboard | AMD Sempron 140 CPU | 2x1GB RAM | LSI 9223-8i (IBM M1115 Flashed to IT mode) 1x8TB WD Red | 1 x WD 6TB | 1 x Seagate 4TB | 2 x Hitachi 2TB | 2 x Samsung 2TB | 1 x WD 2TB
  6. I have a WD Red 8TB drive sealed from WD. Warranty expires March 2019. It was a replacement for a failed 8TB drive that I sent back to them that I don't need anymore. [SOLD] $200 shipped to USA. Moving overseas and need this gone ASAP.
  7. $215 shipped via Venmo/square/PP F&F or $221.73 for regular paypal with fees.

  10. Weird, I don't see any signatures and no way to edit in my profile either. Ahh, got it, thanks.
  11. Where'd you find that?!?! Exactly what I'm looking for, thanks! Everything is current except for all the newer 8TB drives and 8-port SATA card.
  12. After wasting 30mins there I posted here Forums are dynamic and since archive.org can't access the backend database it doesn't work.
  13. I had my system specs in my signature for the old forum and when the forum software was upgraded it's now lost. How can I find a cached page so I can copy the specs to my PC?
  14. So even the drives in the stock slots stay cool? That's a nice case.
  15. What new case are you using now? Those IcyDock cages could replace my iStarUSA cages.
  16. What's the room temp during a parity check? What's the room temp during a parity check? For a while I was actually doing the same thing with the same iStarUSA 5in3 cages and I removed the stock fans. My case only had two 120mm fans along with the 80mm PSU fan and it didn't work at all. Temps were terrible at 40+ with a room temp of 76F. Could have been that my exhaust fans weren't good for that purpose. I only had 8 drives out of the 15 available. It must be quiet because it sits next to my desk and I work from home. What case are you using?
  17. Do you have the cage or the hot-swap version? What do your temps look like for a parity check and what is room temp?
  18. Hooked both drives up to my new Win10 PC and both of them formatted fine and I could copy data to/from them. They appear to be regular 8TB Red drives. I may order another one from another seller to hopefully get some drives with warranties. If not I'll sell the enclosures without the serials so I can retain them in case a drive fails. I ordered mine from Newegg's Ebay store which was shipped form Ingram Micro and not Newegg themselves. May have something to do with the OEM problem.
  19. Hooking things up here now. From what it sounded like I don't need the enclosure at all. I can sell it and remove the serial number form the enclosure and just keep the serial. With this enclosure the drives are serviceable, so I'd return just the drive if it failed.
  20. I'll update when I get a chance to test. I also updated the first post.
