  1. Can you upgrade to the latest version 2016.01.13a, see plugins page -> Check for updates. Already there but I am not sure when I upgraded (today?). Wait until tomorrow and I will post back.
  2. I start receiving every day the emails I write about in this thread http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45609.0 Are them from this plugin? If they are, any idea how to stop them?
  3. I have extra the exportrotate which I believe is this plugin https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=44989.0 So I will inform that thread. Also, is there any way to get the messages sent to tty1 (the monitor terminal) from ssh putty that I use?
  4. Tried to search first but I din't find anything. I currently don't have a cache drive. I store my docker.img plus any vdisks in a non cow user share I created in /mnt/disk1/ The array performance is more than enough for me. I don't move files a lot, so the 50-60MB/sec is ok. Dockers also run good enough. The only problem is the VMachines which run really really slow and the potential fragmentation the torrent files will cause using btrfs with cow enabled. What is the optimal configuration?
  5. Thanks for the clarification! I already moved all files in a non cow folder (/mnt/disk1/Virtualizationfiles/) and I am going to look for a ssd to act as cache or non-array disk. Any idea about the torrent files?
  6. Hi! I have tried WIN10, WIN7, Debian latest x64 and I got with all very low disk performance. Updating, opening apps, navigating through OS etc. I don't have a CACHE so my virtualdisk is stored in parity. I use BTRFS and the user share which has the virtualdisks has copy on write enabled. 1) Should I disable copy on write? (basically create a new share with disabled cow and move files there) 2) Should I expect big performance improvement or a cache drive is the only way? (One question I just thought of. Should I disable cow for the user share I store active torrents?)
  7. Third day today and I got the same email again! In notification settings I have no email checked for Notification entity:
  8. Hi again. Everything is working fine but I got a second email with the following details and I have no clue on what to look for. Syslog is clean and I am running latest version. This happened in 6.1.6 and not in 6.1.7. Also, I have seen some weird messages in terminal but as I run headless and the server is in the basement it's really difficult to plug a display and get what's there. How can I read those messages from Putty SSH?
  9. Hi! I am trying to find out how to include only some folders (for example /mnt/user/Photos) but I am missing that option. I could exclude all others but for example I have docker.img in /mnt/disk1/ so I can not exclude it and it keeps saying Jan 12 16:33:10 TOWER bunker: warning: BLAKE2 hash key mismatch (updated), /mnt/disk1/docker.img was modified Is there a settings combination I am missing?
  10. Hi! For some weird reason the plugin does not wake up my desktop. I can wake my desktop using my router but not with the plugin through unraid server. I have tried with IP&MAC and also using only MAC with the same results. (When I scan with the desktop running, the plugin can detect it.) Any ideas?
  11. Hi! I am using latest Plex docker by lime-tech on a Xeon E3-1230 v3. I am only loaded to Plex my photo collection which is ~600Gb in total. It gets really slow to browse the folders and most of the time I get It is the latest version and the networking mode is Host and it runs in Priveledged mode. I have mounted my /mnt/disk3/Photos with read only permissions.
  12. I got couchpotato+deluge working in Privileged mode. My only problem is that CP after a download is completed, it is being moved and renamed so deluge can not seed it. This is done BEFORE the seeding targets are reached (time, upload size). I tried link and move but both fail. Deluge says file missing. I changed to COPY but this can not be permanent. Any ideas? I don't have any experience with links to check what is wrong.
  13. So, is it normal that dropbox loses connection with my account everytime I restart the docker?
  14. i was searching for both answers and found this topic. did you solve the linkage problem after restart?
  15. Managed to get them connected by running both dockers in Privileged mode. Also, bridged port 58846/tcp for deluge deamon. What are the downsides of running dockers in privileged mode? How bad is it? Also, is there any other to avoid privileged mode?
  16. hi i am trying to connect deluge with couchpotato but it keeps saying failed to connect. i have already modified auth file. is there any guide or any special setting with dockers?
  17. My server is less than a week old and I am trying to understand everything before buying components. Also, I run very low on budget (for pc stuff) so I will use what I have for now. I am happy I made my point clear (documentation on dockers) and I have an excuse for messing my UnRaid setup in less than a week I am a bit in a hurry to setup everything as I already moved all my disks to unraid from my desktop and we don't have movies streaming/downloading at the moment. Again, thanks for the tip (/mnt/disk1/). One more question. The parity drive which gets the most strain shouldn't we set it for NO SPIN DOWN? I thought of that now, becouse you compared cache vs parity+1drive. I believed that I would always have the parity spinning. So cache is only for speed improvement (and thus I will not add anytime soon)
  18. The problem with misconfigured dockers comes from the lack of proper documentation I think. It would be much easier a wiki than everyone asking at the forum. For example, I am not sure which is better. /mnt/user/appdata/deluge or /mnt/disk1/appdata/deluge As I am installing one by one the plugins again. Can I delete some folder to reset any changes I had done before uninstalling or everything is reset already?
  19. Marked as solved. Thanks everyone. I have booted to normal mode and after 13hours I still have 13% space used and for the first time really low cpu usage! I just installed system temp and I will wait for another 12 hours. One question. Is it better to run a VM (for example debian which I have some experience and I prefer) and run in there the deluge/sonarr/couchpotato/plex or using dockers? I read various problems with dockers and I don't have the time to waste playing around. Also, running VM debian, is it like proxmox containers? Do the system share core files so it uses much less memory?
  20. All the plugins are "brand new" with no settings altered by me. I have only used the system temp to show cpu/motherboard temp at the bottom of webgui. Before "accusing" one plugin I will try to find exactly which one caused the problem. Thanks for your guidance on troubleshooting! I am happy this happened now, so I got the opportunity to troubleshoot before transferring all data to unraid. Next step is to boot in normal mode and uninstalling all plugins. I hope that it's that simple!
  21. I think all of those are verified This is the list of installed plugins, right? root@TOWER:/boot/config/plugins# ls NerdPack/ checksum.plg* dynamix.kvm.manager/ powerdown/ NerdPack.plg* dockerMan/ dynamix.system.temp/ powerdown-x86_64.plg* checksum/ dynamix/ dynamix.system.temp.plg* I will uninstall all and start to install one per second day.
  22. Now I booted to SAFE MODE. Before, I tried to stop array but it kept trying to unmount shares. I had to run powerdown -r Attached latest diagnostics in SAFE MODE. I have no folder /boot/extra root@TOWER:/boot# ls System\ Volume\ Information/ install.txt* make_bootable.bat* preclear_reports/ bzimage* ldlinux.c32* make_bootable_mac* syslinux/ bzroot* ldlinux.sys* memtest* changes.txt* license.txt* packages/ config/ logs/ preclear_disk.sh* Also, for the last 5 minutes df -h is stable at 235M / 13% which indicates that the problem does not exist in SAFE MODE. I really appreciate your help! tower-diagnostics-20151230-1634.zip
  23. screenshot from htop also used space is still increasing there should be a way to see what is writing and where root@TOWER:~# df -h / Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on - 1.8G 819M 1011M 45% /
  24. Only this /etc/fstab /dev/disk/by-label/UNRAID /boot vfat auto,rw,exec,noatime,nodiratime,umask=0,shortname=mixed 0 1 also /etc/mtab cat /etc/mtab tmpfs /var/log tmpfs rw,size=128m,mode=0755 0 0 proc /proc proc rw 0 0 sysfs /sys sysfs rw 0 0 /dev/sda1 /boot vfat rw,noatime,nodiratime,umask=0,shortname=mixed 0 0 /dev/md1 /mnt/disk1 btrfs rw,noatime,nodiratime 0 0 /dev/md2 /mnt/disk2 btrfs rw,noatime,nodiratime 0 0 shfs /mnt/user fuse.shfs rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,allow_other 0 0 /dev/loop0 /var/lib/docker btrfs rw 0 0 /dev/md3 /mnt/disk3 btrfs rw,noatime,nodiratime 0 0 How is / mounted to all the ram? Also, after restart / was ~20% full and after 2hours its 41% again size is only 1.8G Is there any command to check what is increasing in size by time? Another diagnostics zip attached after I disabled docker (vm was already disabled) Also free space in / is still decreasing! 42% completed the command I tried before for top usage root@TOWER:~# sudo du -a --exclude=/proc/* / | sort -n -r | head -n 20 du: cannot access ‘/sys/kernel/slab/unraid/md’: No such file or directory 1805508308 / 1804897076 /mnt 902448512 /mnt/user 490021892 /mnt/user/Photos 457894256 /mnt/disk1 444554292 /mnt/disk2 401566172 /mnt/user/Synology/-=Videos=- 401566172 /mnt/user/Synology 277085912 /mnt/disk2/Photos 274198252 /mnt/user/Synology/-=Videos=-/Movies 234362764 /mnt/disk1/Synology/-=Videos=- 234362764 /mnt/disk1/Synology 228904468 /mnt/disk1/Synology/-=Videos=-/Movies 212935980 /mnt/disk1/Photos 167203408 /mnt/disk2/Synology/-=Videos=- 167203408 /mnt/disk2/Synology 165236012 /mnt/user/Photos/2003 - 2014 94522940 /mnt/user/Synology/-=Videos=-/temp 94522940 /mnt/disk2/Synology/-=Videos=-/temp 87323564 /mnt/disk1/Photos/2003 - 2014 w Anything wrong here? tower-diagnostics-20151230-1454.zip
