That’s interesting. I do use Samba for my tdarr nodes. Never been an issue until recently. Also I have 32GB of RAM and the most I’ve hit is 76% usage. Could be a ZFS thing?

Every other day I have to reboot my unraid server because user shares say "There are no exportable user shares" Not sure what is causing it. I've attached diagnostics. unraid-diagnostics-20240413-0606.zip

I have this installed and setup for my camera. I have "continuously record" enabled but nothing gets recorded. Is there something I am missing?

It seems when I stop Plex, it ends. I had to walk my wife through restarting Plex twice in my 30 min drive to work today. I am not sure what Plex is doing to cause this. I am not really seeing anything in the logs (or I don't know what I am looking for). I have my downloads set to only occur at night, and Plex only updates the library during maintenance which is from 12am to 6am.

I am not sure what is happening. I am not too savvy when it comes to linux. I just have a handful of dockers running. Crashplan, Jackett, Netdata, NZBGet, plex, plexpy, radarr, sonarr and transmission. My downloads are set to run from 10pm - 6am. But today at about 4:20pm central, my wife told me that Plex as not being responsive. This happens very frequently. I log in and do an iotop and this is what I see http://imgur.com/a/1mvnr LOTS and LOTS of ioactivity. I have upgraded my cache drive TWICE and this keeps happening. Any insight from my screenshot on what is causing it?

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Musicbrainz

I did that last night and let it run. Still got "postgres: could not access the server configuration file "/config/postgresql.conf": No such file or directory" but I restarted the docker again and it appears to be fine now. Thanks again -

Okay thanks, I'll clear the directories again and leave the docker off until then. Thanks for your help!!! -

Brand new install and I am getting this error postgres: could not access the server configuration file "/config/postgresql.conf": No such file or directory I have my /config pointed to /mnt/cache/appdata/musicbrainz/config and /data pointed to /mnt/cache/appdata/musicbrainz/data I also addedin the WEBADDRESS variable to my unraid server IP address. Any idea what this error is or how to fix it? When I browse /mnt/cache/musicbrainz I do not see a postgresql.conf file. -
Having an issue with the System Stats plugin. I have version 2016.11.03 - The network system stats is not accurate. It will occasionally show a single spike that is so extreme I can't see the rest of the statistics. There is no way I am sending at over 120Gb/sec
-
ok that is good to know. Been trying to troubleshoot some remote plex buffering issues so that was the first place I started.
-
Any ideas why this seems to report extremely low speeds for me? I am on AT&T fiber and have 1GB up and down but this is my result I can send things using resilio sync faster than this, so I know it is not accurate. Is there anything I need to change to get a more accurate result?

Plex causing unRAID to become unresponsive with hard disk activity.
Stuke00 replied to Stuke00's topic in General Support
I disabled those when I setup the server, and they are still disabled. I even have it set to run scanner tasks at a lower priority. Is there a way to see what files exactly are being accessed during this time of high activity? If you look at the screenshot, it is doing a read... and with it being over 256MB/sec, it has to be the cache SSD drive and not my slower drives where the media is stored. Even after adding music this happens. -

Are you sure about that path? I suspect it's a typo but do you mean /mnt/cache/appdata (which is actually equivalent to /mnt/user/appdata since appdata is a cache-only share)? Your diagnostics (Tools -> Diagnostics) would shed more light on your question. If instead you have it set to /mnt/user/cache/appdata like you said, then you have accidentally created a user share named "cache" with a folder named appdata in it. That share will have the default setting of cache-no, so it is on your array. Ah sorry, I had a typo. It is /mnt/user/appdata. I try to do everything to the user share and let the share control which disk gets used.
