Just upgraded emby-server on unraid today 3.5.1.0 (latest container) and now the container starts, then stops a couple minutes later....I tried rebooting Unraid. still the same. It was running great till I ran the docker update today. Any help would really be appreciated. Is therer a way to go back to the previous version? Sorry. Newbie question. I've added the parameter and plex "applied" successfully. Where using MC should I find this directory (I'd like to verify that's where the transcoding is going)? I show a /tmp under the root directory and a /var/tmp as well.

Where do I go to get into the docke r image? Or is it easier to remove ple x and re install? Would re instAlling delete the /tmp. Directory?

I suspect this may be what I have done. I mapped /transcode to /tmp.(host) but then entered /tmp. in the docker settings. I've remoted in and set plex to /transcode. How (when I get home) do I cleanup the docker image?

I'm still at work. Cannot check the logs yet. But a few weeks ago I changed my transcoding path in ple x to /tmp. Could that be the issue? I was under the impression /html was ram. Maybe I did missed some other step?

That is likely it. I forgot about creating a docker image when first installed. I'll check/post logs when I get home tonight. Question... After a full reboot that didn't help, I deleted a couple dockers I don't use anymore which didn't help either. At what point should the deleted file space actually become available within the image? Immediately? After restart? Or after some kind of scheduled cleanup? Never? Thanks!

Hi. Still relative newbie here. Suddenly I cannot update any of my dockers. Updating plex gave me the following error: Error: write /var/lib/docker/tmp/GetImageBlob901291657: no space left on device All dockers give similar errors about running out of space. My drives look like they all have plenty of space left. Tried rebooting system. Running 6.3.5. Any ideas? Thanks, Bobby

Hi Folks, I have an old HP xw8600 I'm using for unraid. The MB already has an LSI controller on board that is used for the data/parity drives. I just purchased an LSI 9211-8i strictly as the interface for my flash drives (4 x 128gb). The xw8600 MB has the ability to disable the ROM downloads from the onboard SAS/SATA as well as the PCIe slots individually. I've disabled the ROM for the on board LSI controller and this new card (couldn't help but to play with the new toy) and all seems to be working fine. It sees and is using all the drives without downloading the ROMs during boot. Does anybody know if it is safe to run unraid in this manor? Just bypassing the ROMs instead of changing the firmware(s) to IT mode? Thanks!

As I understand it, if a parity drive goes bad, it must be replaced with a drive of equal or greater size. What about the data drives? If I have a 4TB drive that goes bad, but it only had 1TB of data on it, can I replace it with a 2TB drive? Or must it also be 4TB or equal to the parity drive size? And/or does this depend on how you rebuild it (unraid rebuilds it or I manually format and copy the files over)? Thanks!

I just pre cleared a 4TB drive, then because of a flaky sata card that dorked the drive I had to use some windows tools to get the drive back. Unfortunately the pre clear code went away because of these tools. I shutter to have to run that again (20+ hours). is there a way to NOT pre clear the disk when installing it since it has passed pre clear already? It's just missing the code on the disk. Thanks!!

I just installed a new sata controller and two ssd's. When running preclear it stated the data read speed. I was wondering if there is a plugin/etc... that could do that for the existing drives/controler that are in the machine (there are already two cache ssd's on the older controller) that would not effect data? Thanks!!

The cache drives are presently on "RAID+AHCI" in the bios (HP xw8600 server). The card I have coming is non-raid.

One last question (hopefully). If/when I install a new sata controller card, can I just move the cache disks to it (unraid will recognize them on a different controller)? or would then need to be wiped and re installed on a new sata card? Thanks You!!!

Hello, I very recently added a third ssd cache drive to the cache (3 x 120GB SSDs). The new drive was precleared successfully before assignment. However since its addition whenever I read (not write) from the cache the entire array crashes hard. Since the array is now preforming yet another parity check (all caused by same issue) I want to remove this new disk as soon as the parity check has completed (back to just two 120GB drives). My question is... Can I just stop the array and un assign that disk and restart the array? What would be the effect on the data that resides on the cache (I do have it backed up)? Oh, also... I believe that the issue is actually the sata controller and not the disk. Is it OK to have cache ssd's spread out on different sata controllers? Or should they all be on the same controller? I just wanted to verify the TRIM command is working for my SSD's (2 120gb with the second set up for raid 0?), as I wasn't sure my sata controller would support it. Yeah, it goes all the way through the process but won't save the change when I press enter. I've tried with AUTOMOUNT and SHARE settings ON and OFF. Also no dockers or VM's running. Also tried stopping the array. Still the same reaction.It goes back to the original name.
