  1. Ok, attached is my latest diagnostics, taken after all 5 disks were confirmed spun down. I realised that I'd forgotten to disable the logging on CA Auto Turbo after I enabled it a few days ago, so sorry if they're a bit hefty in content. percy-diagnostics-20180226-1523.zip
  2. Just an update: it's now detecting that all disks are spun up again. ...and then to 1 disk spun down again. Latest diags attached. percy-diagnostics-20180224-1159.zip
  3. Interesting... to give you less to wade through in the log, I thought I'd reboot the machine to clear it before sending the diags, and after reboot, the script correctly detected that all disks were spun up, and turbo mode was enabled. But a few seconds later, it incorrectly thought that one disk was spun down, so then disabled it. Unfortunately, I didn't think to enable debug logging *before* I rebooted, so didn't enable it in time to catch this behaviour. I'm happy to reboot again if it helps get to the bottom of the problem. I've attached my diags, generated about 2 minutes or so after enabling debug (I have a 15 second time out). By this time the 'spun down' count had risen to 2 again. percy-diagnostics-20180224-1133.zip
  4. I just installed this plugin for the first time (I'm on unRAID 6.4.1), but it doesn't seem to detect that my drives are spun up when they are. Specifically, it thinks that two of them are down when all of them are up (I invoked the spin up command). I've waited more than the polling period, but it doesn't climb higher than 2. Two of my disks are encrypted - could it be related to that? Screenshots attached.
  5. Hah. I searched for 'cancel' before I posted, but it didn't return that result (assuming because it was written as 'cancelling'). And it's located on the previous page, too! So embarrassing. Thanks for the info.
  6. Ah balls. After a failed transfer "exit status 23: Partial transfer due to error" I went to re-run the move and accidentally selected the incorrect destination disk. Rather than waiting an hour and a half for it to finish, and then having to figure out how best to distribute the files to the correct disk, is there any way to cancel the operation? I can't see one. Thanks.
  7. I, too, updated this morning and can't reach sab's GUI. I can't remember how to find the relevant log, but am happy to post it if required.
  8. Hi there, I just updated the Docker image to the latest version, and now I can't connect to the GUI - I just get a 'refused to connect' error. I've attached the logs from the appdata directory. I couldn't see anything strange in there, but don't really know what I'm looking for. Your help is appreciated. logs.zip
  9. Haha. You're not, actually. Sometimes I'm also called 'Amish'
  10. Update: After the parity check completed (0 errors), I stopped all Dockers and ran the delete operation. It ran without a problem: no UI lockup, no slow down. Thanks for your help, everyone.
  11. I guess that's good news - in that at least the files were getting deleted. I just wish I'd figured that out before I forced the shutdown. Once the parity check has completed, I'll shutdown all Dockers and let the delete run overnight.
  12. I ended up doing a forced shutdown (holding the power button). I'm now running a parity check. I note now though, that if I visit the 'Backup / Restore Status' page it says the following: Backup / Restore Status: Not Running removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/58748171593e24447bca594ea45026e51eff653d.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/5878789c65b9edabc22743f75a9fd0a27f8df52a.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/5878837ecbb5fa9c75977f168183147e73c41254.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/587d24b6a659d492b4f0178ba7408d5e1a151006.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/58818bbe919a936ca7ad9b68ecbc600bc2163a3f.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/588767ac2ee5ed7597b3709ccc5401e10f0f0856.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/5887e9e696dee86eac00ed2f2d409d2b0219fea7.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/58890083b98208946458168e5bb662e6adb7ba40.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/588a81c226d532489859106c0dfd7123319546a6.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/58/58e26 So, a different file list than when it was hanging. Do you think that maybe the delete operation was still running in the background, and just not updating the gui/log?
  13. Any idea how I can reboot the box? Nothing is happening in the logs, and I can't reach the GUI, nor SSH. And is it wise to start the process back up again once the box it back online (I think this time I'll stop all my Dockers first, though). EDIT: I just connected a kb to the box directly, and could at least type 'root' and my pw to log on, but after hitting enter, it just sits at a blinking cursor on a new line, rather than an actual prompt. EDIT2: I pressed the power button and got the 'The system is going down for system halt NOW!' message on console... but it's just sitting there and doing nothing further.
  14. I've just reduced the backup history to 15 days, and thought I'd go and run the 'delete older backups' function to gain some space back. Everything on my server has crawled to a halt, and my containers aren't even accessible anymore. I can move between tabs in the CA Backup/Restore app, but can't open any other pages on the web GUI. It's been like this for >20 minutes now. If I go to the 'Backup / Restore Status' tab, it looks like it's hanging: Backup / Restore Status: Deleting Dated Backup Sets removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0a7b92edf67ab312fdd3af37ed4d8a3d32f90a13.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0a816611b9d45b278b2606a32e75c06e775228e2.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0a90f8023315e24c0572ae3e15ae34d6739ae18c.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0a95adea3e7af396aeaf6a06ebd670cd59fb287d.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0a9753c4a68bf5e986b502f9cd630ccab0f02534.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0a9e503f42994ab36a7d4c87e887f298c9e6c1cb.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0aa12735f465912fef3dea69a6bb46a1ba637a82.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0aa3df0abe79b94e51ad1ac7ae3c18954a8e2337.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/0a/0aae03c3bbfbbcba2537d6523abbab6d73d8bf44.jpg' removed '/mnt/user/Backup/ca_backup_app/[email protected]/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Serve That truncated line isn't a copy/paste error. Further, the log hasn't progressed for quite some time, which is why I think it's hanging. If it is hanging, what can I do to bring it back (the abort button is greyed out)? And should I try re-running it again after it comes back, or is there a more reliable way to delete the backup folders? Backing up the Plex dir seems to cause people a lot of problems - do you have any ideas for a solution to this? Maybe backing up to an archive file rather than copying them over? I know you then wouldn't be able to do incremental backups, but it might solve these types of problems. Or do you just suggest that I skip backing up Plex (not ideal)? Many thanks for your help.
  15. It's now the first Sunday of the month and... my backups triggered as expected! Thanks for your help, @Squid
  16. Does this app support 'always on' type backups like CrashPlan? Like, as soon as a new item appears in the folder, it will be pushed to the cloud? Or is does it only backup at a schedule? If it makes any difference, I think I would use it with Backblaze B2. Thanks.
  17. It happened to me again today. Further testing is needed, but I suspect it might be related to me changing network interfaces - ie moving from wifi to ethernet. I know that Timemachine should only run when it's connected to power, though, and if I connect my laptop to power, it's also going to be connected to ethernet, so Timemachine should never run while it's on wifi. But nonetheless, I suspect that when I remove my Macbook from ethernet and run it on wifi for a time, then later plug it into power + ethernet, it will then cause the 'disk in use error.' I just tried your workaround and it worked, thanks. I'll keep an eye on the happenings and see if I can nail down the cause. Cheers.
  18. You need more than just the .ovpn file in the openvpn dir: you also need the .crt and .pem file. These are included in the zip file from PIA that contained the .ovpn file. Just copy them over to the same directory and you should be good to go.
  19. Hah ok. I'll keep looking for solutions, then. If you remember at all, please let me know.
  20. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but did you ever solve the issue? I'm having the same problem now.
  21. Thought I'd fire this Docker up after having it switched off for months (I don't really torrent). Firing it up today, though, it won't start. It used to, though... Looking at the logs, it says the following: 2017-08-16 22:00:20.685329 [info] Host is running unRAID 2017-08-16 22:00:20.720830 [info] System information Linux 9988f5e96e14 4.9.30-unRAID #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri May 26 13:56:36 PDT 2017 x86_64 GNU/Linux 2017-08-16 22:00:20.761326 [info] PUID defined as '99' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.802404 [info] PGID defined as '100' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.865166 [info] UMASK defined as '000' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.902653 [info] Permissions already set for volume mappings 2017-08-16 22:00:20.942325 [info] VPN_ENABLED defined as 'yes' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.983601 [info] VPN config file (ovpn extension) is located at /config/openvpn/openvpn.ovpn dos2unix: converting file /config/openvpn/openvpn.ovpn to Unix format... 2017-08-16 22:00:21.020886 [crit] VPN configuration file /config/openvpn/openvpn.ovpn does not contain 'remote' line, showing contents of file before exit... client resolv-retry infinite nobind persist-key cipher aes-256-cbc auth sha256 tls-client remote-cert-tls server auth-user-pass credentials.conf comp-lzo verb 1 crl-verify crl.rsa.4096.pem ca ca.rsa.4096.crt disable-occ I'm using PIA as my provider, and have confirmed that I have the correct settings for it: "VPN_ENABLED"="yes" "VPN_USER"="[MYUSER]" "VPN_PASS"="[MYPASS]" "VPN_REMOTE"="uk-london.privateinternetaccess.com" "VPN_PORT"="1197" "VPN_PROTOCOL"="udp" "VPN_DEVICE_TYPE"="tun" "VPN_PROV"="pia" "VPN_OPTIONS"="" "STRONG_CERTS"="yes" "ENABLE_PRIVOXY"="no" "LAN_NETWORK"="192.168.1.0/24" "NAME_SERVERS"="8.8.8.8,37.235.1.174,8.8.4.4,37.235.1.177" "DEBUG"="true" "UMASK"="000" "PUID"="99" "PGID"="100" Any idea what's wrong? I didn't think I needed to install any custom certs for a PIA connection, but is that what's wrong? Thanks for you help. EDIT: I decided to nuke my install and try again from scratch. I deleted the docker, including the image, then deleted the 'binhex-delugevpn' dir from appdata Now when I start the new container it I get this error: 2017-08-16 22:42:34.186781 [crit] Missing OpenVPN configuration file in /config/openvpn/ (no files with an ovpn extension exist), please create and then restart this container, exiting... I don't see anywhere in the documentation that I had to install a OpenVPN config file if I was using PIA, but it certainly looks that way. Do I? Where can I get a working PIA file from? And do I just drop it in the config dir? Thanks. EDIT2: I notice now that the appdata/binhex-delugevpn dir is rather empty... All it contains is openvpn [directory] and 2x files: perms.txt & supervisord.log Is this due to Deluge not starting all the way up, or have I somehow borked even the default config by deleting the appdata/binhex-delugevpn directory before a re-install? Thanks again! FINALEDIT: Just found the details in this post on some changes by Binhex: So I downloaded an openvpn config file from PIA and it now works (at least the WebUI opens, I haven't tried torrenting just yet...)!
  22. Sorry to be a total n00b here, but I'm looking to run the backup on the 1st Sunday of every month at 5am. I understand that this requires a custom cron. I thought I'd use one of the many different cron syntax generators online, but they all seem to give different outputs! Worse, the many different validators also give differing opinions on the validity of the cron I entered. So I thought I'd take a look on the forums to see if anyone recommended a particular cron syntax generator, but I have found none. So here I am. Can anyone confirm if my cron syntax is correct? 0 0 5 ? * 0#1 * Again, I'd like it to run at 5am on the 1st Sunday of every month. Many thanks.
