I think it means that it won't use the proxy when it talks to SABnzbd. It will still use the proxy for connecting to servers on the internet.

So what do we change to get Sonarr and Radarr to work via Privoxy if it's not the ADDITIONAL_PORTS var? EDIT: I got Sonarr and Radarr to work again by going to (in Sonarr and Radarr) Settings > Config > General > Proxy and adding my server's IP in "Ignore addresses" ("Bypass proxy for local addresses" was already checked, and I left it so). Additionally, in SABnzbd, if you have under General > Security a "List of local network ranges" defined, be sure to add the ranges for your Sonarr and Radarr Dockers, as well as your LAN IP range (or just leave it blank). Frustratingly, if you add it as CIDR notation, you will be locked out of the UI, so add it in the following format: 192.168.1.,172.17.0. (the second range covers both my Sonarr and Radarr Dockers)

Noob question: where do I store the script? I note that the UserScripts plugin doesn't work with interactive scripts, so I'm guessing I have to drop to terminal to execute this, but I have no idea what 'best practice' is for storing scripts. Should I just place it in the Backup directory? Or is it better to place it on the flash drive somewhere? Thanks for your help.

I can't remember for sure, but I don't think had issues with that version. I have a memory of my issues w v4.3.24.11355 not being the first time that my Chromecasts stopped working, but I think that might have been a config issue with the network rather than a firmware problem. Sorry I can't be more definitive. I think go to the earlier version and wait for ver 4.3.26.11358 to be officially released. If you have problems with the earlier version, it's easy to jump to the "known good" RC (at least, I'm not having any issues with it), and I believe you'll still receive upgrade notifications when new versions come out. I've been trying to search for a way to do this, but have come up empty-handed - probably because I haven't got the search terms quite right, so apologies if this has been covered before (as it almost certainly has). I would like to access some internal-facing websites via SSL - ones that I do not want accessible from the internet, such as Unraid, and Unifi - but I can't find a guide to do this that doesn't also point them to the internet. What settings can I change to a) have them receive an SSL via certbot (or is my wildcard cert already covering them?) and b) to be accessible by https://subdomain.mydomain.com address, but only from my LAN? Can someone point me to the right place that explains how I can do this? As I said before, I couldn't find it in the documentation mainly because I'm not quite sure what to search for. Bonus points for help on how (if it's possible) to set up a cert + SSL for my pi-hole instance, which is running on a separate RPi, rather than an Unraid Docker. Many thanks for your help.

I setup swag for the first time last week, and successfully pointed my domain to my nextcloud instance, and have been able to access it remotely all week via nextcloud.MYDOMAIN.COM*). I also set up a holding page (a single HTML file with an image) for my domain (without a subdomain). Today I changed my Edgerouter X for a Unifi Security Gateway (USG) so that I could manage everything from the one Unifi Controller interface (I already had two of their APs, so thought this would be neat). After having a heck of a time today getting it up and adopted, I do now have a running USG in my Unifi Controller. I have also added my old DHCP reservation and Port Forwards. But now to my problem relating to swag: However, I just checked my domain via my phone (not connected to WiFi), and when I navigate to nextcloud.MYDOMAIN.COM it shows a cert error that it's self-signed. If I hit proceed, it takes me to a Unifi page that I believe is coming from my USG saying "Fatal error. There was an error handling your request. Please try again later." WORSE YET though, is if I navigate to MYDOMAIN.COM it presents me (and anyone else on the internet) with my Unraid login screen! I disabled the port forwards in USG, but the login screen remained, so I've shutdown swag, and it now doesn't appear when I navigate to that page. Does anyone have ANY idea what's going on, and how I can fix it? *not my actual domain for reasons that should be obvious with the problem I'm currently facing OMG 🤦‍♂️ I just realised that when I set up the port frowarding on the USG, I accidentally had 80 > Unraid:80, and 443 to Unraid:443, rather than 80 > Unraid:180 and 443 > Unraid:1443. Classic. All seems to be working as it should now. Nevermind!

Ok, I nuked the install, and have set everything back up again, but am having trouble receiving IP addresses. Worth noting first that I made some changes to my SSIDs: previously I had two different wireless networks in Unifi: 5G and 2G. Now I have one configured, and have the checkmark for 'combine 2G and 5G' disabled, so I have two SSIDs, but only one entry in the list of WiFi networks for it (I think I'd previously used WLAN groups for the 5G vs 2G networks, but can't remember why I did that, so didn't bother this time). So anyway, I now have to re-authenticate every device in my house, as I previously had the 5G SSID with a 5G suffix, and now only the 2G network has a suffix. So I've set everything up, including changing the controller hostname/IP to my server's IP and checking the "override inform host" option. I thought it may be related to the APs not being able to find the DHCP on my Edgerouter. So I popped over to the "Networks" section and changed the Gateway IP/Subnet to match my network/gateway (192.168.200.1/24). I then disabled the DHCP option below that. But my devices just won't receive an IP address. I have also tried it with the DHCP options matching those on my Edgerouter. No joy. I have also set (in the DHCP section of the Edgerouter interface) the IP address of my server for the "Unifi Controller" option, if that does or doesn't do anything (never really sure why there was an option for that in the Edgerouter firmware, but figure it must offer some benefit...). Any ideas? EDIT: OMGGGG a full reboot of my entire network - including modem, router, switch, my server, and every device connected - seems to have fixed it. Dunno why, but I'm super glad (as is my wife) that WiFi is back. Now to go re-authenticate every device to my new SSID!

Thanks for the insight - yeah, it seems that I'm now just another of the many 'why did you even ship this?' Unifi customers It's only my house, so two APs, no USG (I use an Edgerouter), and some dumb switches. I just wish I could access the UI so I could note down the channel (and other) settings I used. Ah well, will just be another weekend IT project. One final thing: the latest firmware for the APs stopped my Chromecasts from working, so I jumped up to a RC version last week (4.3.26.11358) by manually upgrading the APs. Will downgrading the controller to v5 cause any issues? My Unifi Controller just fell over for the first time. It just dropped off from the mobile app (I was using it at the time). If I restart the docker and login, the dashboard comes up, but then if I click anything it's just a spinny circle and nothing happens. It's v6.0.43 I've never had this happen before, but reading the thread most people say that v6 is trash at the moment. Is this, then, par for the course? I installed swag and setup a reverse proxy with my own domain for Nextcloud two days ago, which means I have now opened up ports 80 and 443 on my router, and am feeling particularly jumpy about that. Am I being paranoid associating the two? Like, have I opened up my server to script kiddies now? Or is swag and Docker secure enough that I don't really have to worry (ie my controller falling over for the first time is just a coincidence)? If it is just the Docker, in terms of a fix, is there a 'clear cache and restart' equivalent I can do to it? It's been rock solid for years now - never had it crash before. I don't know what has happened to have it so reliably die on me after every restart. And if I decide to downgrade to v5, do I have to nuke the whole install and start over? Thanks for your help (and reassurance haha).

Have you tried outlining the problem to the apcupsd mailing list? They might know of other users with the problem, or of a change to APC's USB management. http://www.apcupsd.org/wordpress/support/ It might be a good place to dig around and start the ball rolling on updates to the daemon/within Unraid.

Thanks for the update, @dlandon Can confirm that it fixes the slow scan issue, with 'look for new and changed music' dropping from 13 minutes to a much more reasonable 3 minutes.

My scanner is taking a long time to scan, even with "Look for new media and files" rather than "clear & rescan" I think it was a bug introduced in a recent build. Super weird that other SB devices are working. Maybe try a xlinix reset/factory reset of the radios? I've disabled mine. May be worth seeing if that's causing any problems, too.

Looks like you're on a different version to me (I'm on 6.0.22), but my memory now recollects that that is _exactly_ the option that I had to allow (as in, allowing multicasting by un-checking that option) to get my Squeezebox to work properly: they rely on multicasting to work. I think the warning about proper controls is really only problematic in corporate networks where traffic is plentiful. I've had no problems. So, if multicasting was already allowed on your network, then my advice isn't related to your problem.

My money is on the AP blocking multicast. I *think* I had to fiddle with a setting on my Ubiquiti AP to have my Squeezeboxes work properly (no radios, just a boom and a SB3 on wifi). Do you have the Unifi Controller Docker (or similar) to take a look at your settings? If it's any help, here's a screenshot of mine (from Settings > WiFi > [SSID] > Edit > Advanced):

Stepping away from the problem overnight, and I've decided that rather than gutting another Microserver to use as a drive cage, I should just by my next enclosure (probably a Fractal Node 804), a PSU, and a fan, and jerry rig the power button to turn the PSU on/off. While it's not stackable like another Microserver, it'll probably end up about the same price, be a simpler setup, and will be reusable for when I do move to my next build (which will almost certainly be a custom build rather than pre-built product).

Hi all, I currently have an HPE Microserver gen8 with an upgraded CPU and added 2x port SAS card (see sig). I'm more than happy with the performance for my needs, and love its small size. However, I have run up against the limitations of its small size: I have stuffed 4x 3.5", 2x 2.5", and 2x SSD in there. It is now physically full. Unfortunately for me, it is also almost digitally full, too. So this leaves me with two choices: replace 2 or more of the 4TB 3.5" drives with bigger capacity ones. 8TB seems to offer good value here, so 2x 8TB drives (parity + storage) comes out at around £330 - £390 (desktop vs NAS drives), for an extra 4TB of storage capacity, creating 2x 4TB paperweights until I upgrade to a new full-size build (expected timeframe: 5 years). OR I still have 1x spare port on my SAS card, which could support 4x more SATA drives, if I'm able to find a suitable external enclosure. This means I can get away with buying just 1x 4 TB disk @ £105, meaning I have about £225 - £285 headroom if this is to remain a cheaper option than retiring existing drives. Since buying the SAS card years ago, I sort of had this in mind as an upgrade path. However, I've never found a suitable enclosure that would just give me a 4x SATA backplane and PSU that could be plugged in to the extra SAS port on my card - and certainly not one at a suitable price. I had a bit of an epiphany this morning, and looked on eBay for cheap gen8 Microservers, and have found one for <£200 that even comes with some storage, saving me from having to buy a new disk. So my question is this: is it possible to turn a functioning machine into what is in effect just a powered chassis for drives? IE could I just plug the backplane power into the PSU of the new unit, and its data into the SAS port of my existing unit (I would modify its PCI bracket and route the cable out there), and just be sure to power on the secondary unit before powering on the primary? Secondary question: is it ok to route the normal internal SAS > SATA cables externally? Tertiary question: could I remove the CPU+RAM from the new unit to save it from using unnecessary power (sorta just leaving it to forever sit at a failed POST)? I don't need anything other than the HDDs to be powered up, after all. EDIT: the reason that I would run it as an external drive cage rather than a standalone instance of Unraid is mainly for the power savings (although also ease of admin). Am I right in thinking that this setup would save power? Or are the motherboard+CPU+RAM power requirements negligible compared to the HDDs, or simply not possible to leave powered off? *lightbulbmoment* I guess I could also just add in my own switch emulating the ATX power command and just disconnect the motherboard entirely... /EDIT Is this insane? Is there a better option that I've completely overlooked? I would love someone with a bit more knowledge than I to share their opinion on this. Big thanks!
