  1. Does this app support 'always on' type backups like CrashPlan? Like, as soon as a new item appears in the folder, it will be pushed to the cloud? Or is does it only backup at a schedule? If it makes any difference, I think I would use it with Backblaze B2. Thanks.
  2. It happened to me again today. Further testing is needed, but I suspect it might be related to me changing network interfaces - ie moving from wifi to ethernet. I know that Timemachine should only run when it's connected to power, though, and if I connect my laptop to power, it's also going to be connected to ethernet, so Timemachine should never run while it's on wifi. But nonetheless, I suspect that when I remove my Macbook from ethernet and run it on wifi for a time, then later plug it into power + ethernet, it will then cause the 'disk in use error.' I just tried your workaround and it worked, thanks. I'll keep an eye on the happenings and see if I can nail down the cause. Cheers.
  3. You need more than just the .ovpn file in the openvpn dir: you also need the .crt and .pem file. These are included in the zip file from PIA that contained the .ovpn file. Just copy them over to the same directory and you should be good to go.
  4. Hah ok. I'll keep looking for solutions, then. If you remember at all, please let me know.
  5. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but did you ever solve the issue? I'm having the same problem now.
  6. Thought I'd fire this Docker up after having it switched off for months (I don't really torrent). Firing it up today, though, it won't start. It used to, though... Looking at the logs, it says the following: 2017-08-16 22:00:20.685329 [info] Host is running unRAID 2017-08-16 22:00:20.720830 [info] System information Linux 9988f5e96e14 4.9.30-unRAID #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri May 26 13:56:36 PDT 2017 x86_64 GNU/Linux 2017-08-16 22:00:20.761326 [info] PUID defined as '99' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.802404 [info] PGID defined as '100' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.865166 [info] UMASK defined as '000' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.902653 [info] Permissions already set for volume mappings 2017-08-16 22:00:20.942325 [info] VPN_ENABLED defined as 'yes' 2017-08-16 22:00:20.983601 [info] VPN config file (ovpn extension) is located at /config/openvpn/openvpn.ovpn dos2unix: converting file /config/openvpn/openvpn.ovpn to Unix format... 2017-08-16 22:00:21.020886 [crit] VPN configuration file /config/openvpn/openvpn.ovpn does not contain 'remote' line, showing contents of file before exit... client resolv-retry infinite nobind persist-key cipher aes-256-cbc auth sha256 tls-client remote-cert-tls server auth-user-pass credentials.conf comp-lzo verb 1 crl-verify crl.rsa.4096.pem ca ca.rsa.4096.crt disable-occ I'm using PIA as my provider, and have confirmed that I have the correct settings for it: "VPN_ENABLED"="yes" "VPN_USER"="[MYUSER]" "VPN_PASS"="[MYPASS]" "VPN_REMOTE"="uk-london.privateinternetaccess.com" "VPN_PORT"="1197" "VPN_PROTOCOL"="udp" "VPN_DEVICE_TYPE"="tun" "VPN_PROV"="pia" "VPN_OPTIONS"="" "STRONG_CERTS"="yes" "ENABLE_PRIVOXY"="no" "LAN_NETWORK"="192.168.1.0/24" "NAME_SERVERS"="8.8.8.8,37.235.1.174,8.8.4.4,37.235.1.177" "DEBUG"="true" "UMASK"="000" "PUID"="99" "PGID"="100" Any idea what's wrong? I didn't think I needed to install any custom certs for a PIA connection, but is that what's wrong? Thanks for you help. EDIT: I decided to nuke my install and try again from scratch. I deleted the docker, including the image, then deleted the 'binhex-delugevpn' dir from appdata Now when I start the new container it I get this error: 2017-08-16 22:42:34.186781 [crit] Missing OpenVPN configuration file in /config/openvpn/ (no files with an ovpn extension exist), please create and then restart this container, exiting... I don't see anywhere in the documentation that I had to install a OpenVPN config file if I was using PIA, but it certainly looks that way. Do I? Where can I get a working PIA file from? And do I just drop it in the config dir? Thanks. EDIT2: I notice now that the appdata/binhex-delugevpn dir is rather empty... All it contains is openvpn [directory] and 2x files: perms.txt & supervisord.log Is this due to Deluge not starting all the way up, or have I somehow borked even the default config by deleting the appdata/binhex-delugevpn directory before a re-install? Thanks again! FINALEDIT: Just found the details in this post on some changes by Binhex: So I downloaded an openvpn config file from PIA and it now works (at least the WebUI opens, I haven't tried torrenting just yet...)!
  7. Sorry to be a total n00b here, but I'm looking to run the backup on the 1st Sunday of every month at 5am. I understand that this requires a custom cron. I thought I'd use one of the many different cron syntax generators online, but they all seem to give different outputs! Worse, the many different validators also give differing opinions on the validity of the cron I entered. So I thought I'd take a look on the forums to see if anyone recommended a particular cron syntax generator, but I have found none. So here I am. Can anyone confirm if my cron syntax is correct? 0 0 5 ? * 0#1 * Again, I'd like it to run at 5am on the 1st Sunday of every month. Many thanks.
  8. Just letting you know that everything worked well, and the parity check completed without errors. Thanks for your help, @johnnie.black
  9. Hello, I changed the flash drive on my unRAID server this morning, following the instructions here: https://lime-technology.com/replace-key/ The process of changing the key was successful, however, my disk assignments were somehow lost in the process. Not realising this was a risk, I (stupidly) didn't take a screenshot of the assignments before I shut down the server. Further, as my old USB key is now blacklisted, I can't just boot back up to a working config. I don't want to just assign the disks willy nilly, in case it causes some data corruption, so I thought I'd ask for advice here before I do anything stupid. Notes: All 5 of my disks are appearing as unassigned devices, so I can see which one is the parity (not formatted) - does it matter what order the others are assigned? Curiously, my cache drives appear to be correctly assigned. A screenshot is attached (ignore the footer appearing halfway down - that's just a quirk of the screenshot app I use). Your advice on the matter is greatly appreciated, thank you.
  10. I tried to upgrade to the 2017.06.23a version this morning, but received this error: plugin: updating: preclear.disk.plg Fatal error: escapeshellarg(): Argument exceeds the allowed length of 4096 bytes in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 342 I'm running unRAID 6.3.5 and I'm upgrading from preclear 2017.06.21a. Thanks.
  11. Enbling drive cache fixed my slow pre-clear problems. I've had no problems with having it enabled. I also purchased a UPS, though, as I don't want to risk data corruption. Note that, as johnnie.black said, you still run the risk of data corruption in the event of power loss even without drive cache enabled, so you should really by yourself a UPS anyway.
  12. Sorry to dig up an aged thread, but I thought I'd just note that I onlly just started getting the error, and it seems to have been caused by me activating the CA backups app - I received the error for the first time as it ran (also for the first time) last night: Jun 6 04:00:01 Percy root: ####################################### Jun 6 04:00:01 Percy root: Community Applications appData Backup Jun 6 04:00:01 Percy root: Applications will be unavailable during Jun 6 04:00:01 Percy root: this process. 13. Your download test returned a result of 30 megabits per second, not megabytes per second. 30 megabits per second is 3.75 MB per second. Running behind a VPN, 3MB/s is not a bad difference in speed, as there is a lot of overhead in encryption. For instance, I can download at about 9 MB/s unencrypted, but only about 6MB/s over a VPN. Ah, I just re-read and realised that you ran the speed test while SAB was downloading. Yeah, perhaps try a different server. Connect your desktop machine to PIA and run a speedtest to see what speeds you should expect from Usenet via PIA. If you have a full-bandwidth Usenet plan, there's no reason to think that it should be slower than what you can get from a speedtest via the PIA VPN.
  14. Yep: I too have this error, even after deleting the cert and key files and restarting the docker. I see, though, from the link at the top of this page, that it might be something upstream. So we should just wait, yes?
  15. As in swiped it from recent apps and re-opened it? Many times, yes. I'll try a 'Force close' and see if it helps.
  16. Nope. I keep checking the version number, as I said: I'm still on 2.3.1.
  17. Ok I'll keep waiting. Been two days at least, so wasn't sure if it was automatic or not.
  18. So, I have no idea how to get this update? I was waiting for an over-the-air update, but it never came. And I can't find an 'update' button within the app. I'm still on 2.3.1, which was installed via the Play Store. How do I get this update? Thanks.
  19. It's related to Time Machine backups and has been fixed in 6.3.1: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=56281.msg537185#msg537185
  20. I get it in safe mode, too. I'll go subscribe to your thread now.
  21. Thanks jademonkee ! It should work, but I'll check it. Given there's a chance that the errors I've described here may be pertinent to the problem: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=55052.0 I thought I'd best let you know about them.
