Hi! Actually i can´t add new SMB Shares - existing ones are workin. Is this an unRAID or problem of the plugin? I´m running lates RC build and also latest plugin version. When i try to add a SMB share nothing no server would be found and also adding one using a fix ip doesn´t seem to work...

Hi! I have a problem with the settings of my cachedrive. My incomplete NZBGet downloads are beeing saved in the /incomplete share which is attached to disk1 (4TB HDD). I´ve set cache settings of this share to prefer so i thought if the cache SSD is full the data would be written to the HDD but it didn´t. The download stopped with an out of space message. Could any1 help me pls with the problem? Thx in advance! b0mb

The Server I'm connecting to its hosted by my brother so I don't use a local card reader. The containers are running in bridged mode as I'm not able to connect from a container running in bridged mode to a container with a fix ip. I've tried that but didn't get it working. Hi, I'm using the Oscam and the Tvheadend container from linuxserver.io on my unraid server. I'm running the latest builds and unRAID is also the latest build 6.5.0 RC5. My problem is that the Ecm times using the containers with unRAID are about 400 ms and sometimes causing glitches. This same config on openmediavault is running with Ecm times about 100ms. The ping to my unraid server in the local network is 1ms. Using Oscam on my Vu+ receiver is also running with normal Ecm times. Does any1 have an idea what I could try to solve my problem? Hi! The new docker Emby docker container based on netcore is crashing very fast on some intel cpus´s like celeron n3050, j3455 or pentium g4560. I´ve found some workaround like deactivating port mapping and change standard port from 8096 to 8888 but meanwhile i think this problem is related to unRAID or it´s kernel. I tried the same container now on openmediavault where it´s running like a charm. So i guess the only difference compared with unRAID should be the kernel. Is it possible to install a backport kernel on unRAID like on OMV or does some1 have another idea? Thx in advance! b0mb

the problem is also present while copying stuff from a share on disk1 to a share on disk2.... quite annoying actually

Hi! I´m on latest unRAID build and when i move data within the /user directory from one share to another it isn´t stored on the disk the share is using. E.g. i move using MC a file from a Share on Disk2 to a Share on Disk1 it is going to be stored on Disk2 instead Disk1. So the Share exists two times after that operation. Any Conclusion? Thx! b0mb

ok....drives are still spinning up but not that fast as before changing the settings as described.... crazy

Hi! I have a problem with spinning up drives without a given reason. My Download Folder is configured to use the cachedisk for storing and unpacking and moves the files early in the morning to the shares. Now i´ve seen that all drives are spinning up when something is unpacked on the download share on my cachedisk. I´ve tested this with nzbget, sabnzbd and jdownloader Container.... Does any1 have a tipp for me? I´m actually on 6.4.1-rc2 and spin up groups feature has never been activated. thx! b0mb edit: changing this setting from auto to read/modify/write seems to help keeping drives sleeping

i´ve tried several when not all kinds of mounting my shares into the container but none worked... problems started december 2017, before i´ve never had that problem crazy

Thanks for explaining. What's confusing me it's that this kind of handling the files was working without a problem and then someone in December it suddenly stopped. Would this be the right way to solve my problem? Ok.... this might be an unRAID problem... i´ve just tried filebot container and it acts exactly like emby when moving files within the cache disk.... it´s acting like moving the files from drive 1 to drive 5 instead of fast moving like the data is stored on the same disk.... so it´s more or less copying and not moving.... i would appreciate any kind of help

Hi! I´m running latest unRAID 6.4 with latest emby docker container. Filesystem used is btrfs. With emby i use an so called autoorganize plugin to sort and organize new series and seasons. I have an option in the plugin to copy or move the files beeing processed. I prefer move because new series allways have been processed very fast because anything was done on my cachedrive (samsung ssd) within seconds. A few weeks ago the files haven´t been moved anymore but copied instead. So organizing new files is taking ages now and there is a lot of traffic going on my cachedrive. First i´ve thought that might be a bug of emby or unraid but the problem is still present. Today i´ve opened a thread in emby forum where an admin said that they did not change anything on the plugin and that it´s moving files fine on other systenms. this is the code of the plugin - you might have a look So can anybody help me with that problem? Maybe there has something changed in unRAID system especially handling files processed on cache drive. Btw. when i move files within /mnt/user/ using Midnight Commander they wil be moved and not copied. Thx for help in advance! [emoji6] b0mb
