  1. unmanic.log sorry it's rather large from all the restarts to trigger a scan.
  2. as an update, swapping to mp4 output does the same thing - the file is run through again on every library refresh
  3. yeah, every time it does a library scan it runs the files again. Any logs i can provide to give more info?
  4. just to get a better understanding, just let them continuously cycle through? i'd like to avoid constantly writing to disk if at all possible Currently using a test folder seeing if maybe swapping containers to mp4, then back to mkv will eliminate the issue.
  5. hate to bug you about it, but i have a few that are still in that mkv/webm format that keep cycling through again - how can i get unmanic to just encode it to mkv?
  6. Actually, what it looks like is it's just flying over it without doing a whole lot of encoding if at all. 7. same here after update. It seems to not be using GPU either. Nothing being worked on in nvidia-smi, but cpu is cranking away.
  8. It doesn't say no iommu groups available, vtd is enabled, bios updated as well (thanks for the reminder ) I got the plugin, but it only shows group 0 when building a config. I assume they're in two groups due to the way they're listed, but i'm not 100% on that. It's just so weird because it worked just a few months ago using windows and handbrake to convert videos to hevc.
  9. I don't seem to have an option to do anything but list devices in tools>system devices. the only button is "done". (array spun down as well) am i missing something perhaps? is that a 6.9 feature?
  10. Hey folks, i went to edit and add more memory to some of my vms and realized that i can't choose a gpu anymore. the only option is vnc. I know there was a kerfuffle with the unraid-nvidia plugin, but i'm not sure if that's my issue or not. the plugin is still installed and gpu's are working in dockers, just not listed as an option for a vm. Same thing with both linux and windows vms, nothing but vnc listed. Currently on unraid 6.8.3, but would consider the rc of 6.9 if it's necessary to get the cards accessible to vms. Gpus are seen in nvidia-smi, system devices and what's left of the unraid nvidia plugin.
  11. Pihole dot doh --- i think there might be a config issue - after installing and matching regular pihole template, aside the required settings, there is no webgui. Uninstalled, removed image and deleted the folder in appdata. Reinstalled with a new static local ip, same issue. Uninstalled original (working) pihole, deleted folder etc. Reinstalled and the gui works right away. Am i possibly missing something? I can ping google from console successfully.
  12. I followed Spaceinvader's tutorial on using an nvme device - it works on first boot. When i shut down then turn the VM back on the whole system hangs and i have to hard reset. I tried switching unsafe interrupts back and forth, both lead to the same issue. **Without adjusting any of my text above in case i'm just going crazy - It seems like it added the second address on it's own with slot=0x08 - I'm sure i didn't add it since i copied the blank host dev directly and just changed the bus to 3. <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x00' function='0x0'/> </source> </hostdev> Could i possibly solve this whole situation by changing the SECOND address bus to 3 as well? remove it? I just don't really want to have any more unsafe shutdowns and lose my data again.. thanks folks tower-diagnostics-20200411-2044.zip
  13. oh boy. jeez, this will be the 4th seagate drive failure i guess i'll move the rest over to wd and get to blocking pins. Thanks for the heads up!
  14. got an alert that there are errors on my parity drive. i ran the smart extended self-test and it came up with no errors. though the two highlighted in attached image have me a bit concerned. But i'm not sure if it was just a fluke - can i 'clear' the error to see if it pops up again? or is that ill-advised?
  15. ahhh gotcha! That's an excellent explanation I think i was just treating it like a 'watch folder' rather than considering the sab/sonarr communication It works now - i just backed them both down to mnt/user/downloads. Thank you very much! You're a real asset to the community
  16. i have sabnzbd using another 'complete' folder from itself working with categories inside that complete folder - hence the complete/complete/sonarr So just make sonarr match the output path of sabnzbd plus the sonarr category folder? sorry, i'm just a little confused - the files do end up in /complete/complete/sonarr when they're finished downloading.
  17. Thanks for taking the time, i really appreciate it. 18. /mnt/user/downloads/complete/complete/ with the sonarr category, making the completed files go into /mnt/user/downloads/complete/complete/sonarr/ Files are indeed there. Wanted page manual import: Activity page manual import: I've had to recover some data with appdata restore, it's worked just fine for about a year since i had to redo everything. Possibly something got mixed up in the config since the restore? If need-be, is there a way where i can wipe out the config and 'start fresh' without losing the show database? or reinstall and preserve the db?
  19. Automatic import issue: Mappings are correct unless i'm missing something stupid or misunderstanding the data folder. Sabnzbd drops the completed Sonarr downloads into /mnt/user/downloads/complete/complete/sonarr/ Sonarr's data folder is mapped to /mnt/user/downloads/complete/complete/sonarr/ I can manually import successfully directly from the Wanted>Manual Import and use the /data/ folder. From using the manual import button on the activity page, it says 'No video files were found in the selected folder.' Am i missing something terribly stupid?
  20. The card is an 88se9215 - one HDD and one optical drive connected. Supposedly it's "bootable, working out of the box" on the compatibility chart. It looks like the drives are found and identified (line 946 & 948) Then it seems to timeout, fail to identify, switch to sata 2, then move on to the next one. (starting line 1005) Any ideas? I have the amd_iommu=pt appended, same thing without the amd_ tower-diagnostics-20190830-2137.zip
  21. thanks a lot! You're a real asset to the community The sde drive totally died - nothing in bios either. Lesson learned with not having parity the entire time - just happy i don't keep anything important on there
  22. Sorry to post on top, figured it might be useful - i think that this whole situation is coming from that drive (sde) which can't find the filesystem now. i got some dockers to work directly on the cache, but at this point, docker is the least of my problems. I ran filesystem check, repair - they both can't go anywhere - gives relatively the same response, expecting one block but getting another then stopping
  23. My disk 1 seems to have died since (of course the same day i get a parity drive :P) Thank you tower-diagnostics-20190827-0643.zip
  24. I had an issue with docker giving the loop2 error sort of like this thread (BTRFS: error (device loop2) in btrfs_sync_log:3168: errno=-5 IO failure) - so i went ahead and turned off docker and deleted the image, i have appdata backed up (in a working, non error throwing state). When i turn the image back on to recreate it, it makes whatever drive i put it on read only. mnt/usr, mnt/cache etc Not sure how to proceed - is there maybe something still cached somewhere that i need to remove manually so docker can't 'fall back' on it?
  25. Just wondering if i misconfigured something along the way When logged in cpu usage stays normal, a few percent on each core. As soon as the user is logged out, it pins a core 100% - goes away once a user is logged in again.. Any ideas? Previous experiences? LOGGED IN: LOGGED OUT:
