I lost one of my Cache array disks and can't start the array
@trurl I may revisit this as currently my cache, a RAID1 of 2x 480Gb SSDs is a bit large for a simple disk writing cache and i currently also use it for VMs & Dockers. I've got 2x 120Gb SSDs (different brands) & a 240Gb SSD spare so may redo the disk cache as 2x 120Gb RAID1 for redundant data copying use until mover moves the data to the main array. That will free up a 2x 480Gb & a 240Gb for VMs/dockers/backup purposes

I lost one of my Cache array disks and can't start the array
@JorgeB sdg1 is a 'SanDisk_SSD_PLUS_480GB (sdg) 480Gb' with 107Gb free, not sure why that error is coming up. Would this be as ive re-plugged the physical devices in the wrong way round after testing leads? The faulty SSD which is currently 'Sandisk_Milpitas_SSD (sdh)' & should be the same 480Gb SSD as above, is only showing as a 16.4KB drive in unassigned devices - if thats relevant.

I lost one of my Cache array disks and can't start the array
@itimpi Thankyou VM Backup says its a BETA so I've just installed Appdata Backup. I added an un exported share 'Appdatabackup' on the main array (turned Security to Private) and have set this as a backup location for now. Can't decide if this is good enough or i should add an Unassigned Device external drive and use that. Then configured the settings to backup to /mnt/user/Appdatabackup/ It says its backing up: /mnt/user/appdata /mnt/cache/appdata Should i add? /mnt/user/domains/ /mnt/user/isos/ Manual backup currently running. Thankyou.

I lost one of my Cache array disks and can't start the array
Stopped array & unassigned pool device (so it now says 'no device') but i cannot start the array without checking 'Yes, I want to do this' - so i did. Stopped array once started, changed pool to 2 slots and restarted. Yay, dockers and VMs are back - i can't thank you enough. I'm hoping the process of rebuilding the RAID1 is easy once the new drive arrives. New diags attached. What i now need to do is learn out how to backup the VMs & Dockers (apart from in RAID1) tower-diagnostics-20240101-1320.zip

I lost one of my Cache array disks and can't start the array
Hello again, thanks for the reply. Happy new year. I did on the first post but ive just done another and its attached. The only thing i may have done whilst checking leads is to attach the working SSD drive to a SATA connector different to it's original - but theres only two options so i can easily put it back. I hope that makes sense. A replacement SSD is arriving tomorrow. Wx tower-diagnostics-20240101-1145.zip

I lost one of my Cache array disks and can't start the array
Thank you. I've got the array started with only one SSD but on the main screen it says under Size: Unmountable: Unsupported or no file system My Docker containers and VMs are all gone. I thought being RAID1 this was mirrored so was recoverable.

I lost one of my Cache array disks and can't start the array
Hello all. I installed a new USB PCI card and when i rebooted the array wouldn't start reporting one of my cache disks was missing. The cache was a RAID1 array with two 480Gb SanDisk SSD Plus drives. At first i thought i'd knocked something so checked Power/Sata etc, thats all fine. I then swapped around the leads and the error repeats to the same drive, so i know its not a lead. The faulty drive shows in Unassigned Devices as an odd drive (Sandisk Milpitas) @ 16.4 KB that won't format. I can get the array to start by stopping the array and setting pool devices to 1 but my VM (which was on the Cache drive) is missing. Can i get help with the following please? How do i check the faulty SSD? Fix the cache array if i buy a new identical SSD? Change the Cache to a single drive? Diagnostics attached. Many thanks - i'm a bit lost! tower-diagnostics-20231231-1239.zip

VFIO-PCI error on startup
Hello. I keep getting this error and i can't work out what it is: VM Autostart disabled: 19-07-2023 15:03 vfio-pci-errors VM Autostart disabled due to vfio-bind error In the notifications: Please review /var/log/vfio-pci-errors That file: Error: Vendor:Device 144d:a80a not found at 0000:01:00.0, unable to bind device Under Tools>System Devices there is no '144d:a80a' BUT, if i look under VIEW VFIO-PCI LOG i can see this, where it is mentioned: Loading config from /boot/config/vfio-pci.cfg BIND=0000:01:00.0|144d:a80a --- Processing 0000:01:00.0 144d:a80a --- Devices listed in /sys/bus/pci/drivers/vfio-pci: vfio-pci binding complete I can edit that .cfg file and delete that entry (the only entry) but i've no idea how it got there or what it is! There are no VMs installed (i deleted all of them) Unraid OS Version: 6.12.3 Can anyone help with what to look for or do please? Many thanks. Wx

Turned out an upgrade to UNRAID OS 6.12.2 fixed it, all working now. Is there a way to remove unwanted metadata from movie files?

[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN
Re the VPNSecure problems i'm having. I've just heard back from them and they have given me my private client key without a password A couple of newby questions. I'm using a Ubiquiti router and should i forward any of the host ports? Didnt think so as it seems to work without the VPN aspect added. They also say "Unfortunately, port forwarding is not supported on any server". Does that mean i cannot use Deluge? Thanks.

[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN
Has anyone had any luck getting VPNSecure working on Deluge? A simple install of the DelugeVPN docker with no VPN assigned in setup (Key 1) and everything works file but as soon as i use my VPNSecure credentials it cannot connect to the WebUI. Settings: Key 1: yes Key 2: <my VPNSecure username> Key 3: <my VPNsecure password> Key 4: custom Key 5: openvpn I've placed the downloaded .ovpn file (nl1-myusername.ovpn) as well as 'dh2048.pem' and 'myusername.crt' into /appdata/binhex-delugevpn/openvpn I think my private key has a passphrase from a previous log 2022-09-03 22:10:30 neither stdin nor stderr are a tty device and you have neither a controlling tty nor systemd - can't ask for 'Enter Private Key Password:'. If you used --daemon, you need to use --askpass to make passphrase-protected keys work, and you can not use --auth-nocache. I've made a file with the encryption key i was supplied (myusername.pass), placed it in /appdata/binhex-delugevpn/openvpn then in Key 6 (VPN_OPTIONS) i've added '--askpass /config/openvpn/myusername.pass' Still no luck. can anyone help? Also stupid question, does /config/openvpn in the key point to that appdata folder? I've set Debug to true and scrubbed the supervisord.log below with xxx's. Key 12 (DELUGE_WEB_LOG_LEVEL) was 'info', not sure if that should also be 'debug'. https://www.vpnsecure.me/ supervisord.log.2

I did try that @binhex to no avail. Unless i move to PIA i'm going to have to consider myself defeated. Hate doing that.

Done, still not working, same error in the log. There were line breaks within the .pass file, but i left those. Ive attached what it looks like, i've amended a load of characters so its not exact. All the files seem to contain: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- -----BEGIN DH PARAMETERS----- -----BEGIN ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY----- etc I don't know if it matters, but the .ovpn file seems to contain some or all of the other files within it. For instance, if i open the .ovpn file, within a <ca></ca> tag is the details held in the ca.crt file. test.pass.txt

@danith I have the same error trying to use the Deluge Container, can you help? I've put these files downloaded from my VPNSecure into appdata/binhex-delugevpn/openvpn ca.crt dh2048.pem myusername.crt myusername.key nl1-TCP-myusername.ovpn Then i asked VPNSecure for my password and they sent a 'key file', when i open it, its formatted like this: -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- xxxxxx A String of characters xxxxxx -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----- I put that file, called myusername.pass into the same openvpn folder as above and add this to Key 6 VPN_OPTIONS: --askpass /config/openvpn/wobblewoo.pass It still doesn't work, Can you help? supervisord.log

Hello. I love this Docker and me and son can play well on it, many thanks. One question. I always go to the web UI once its running and turn the coordinates on using this command, can i get it to do this automatically? gamerule showcoordinates true Thanks again

Thanks @binhex Nice Avatar, reminds me of being a kid again. I cant see a way of doing that (removing passphrase) so i've just sent a support ticket to VPNSecure.me. In the meantime, whats this: If you used --daemon, you need to use --askpass to make passphrase-protected keys work, and you can not use --auth-nocache.

Thanks and done. It created (multiple) 10Mb text files with what looked like repeated info, so ive scrubbed alot of it. I can also see an IP address in the Netherlands, which is what i wanted supervisord.log

[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN
Hello. Im trying to setup Deluge Docker with my VPNSecure details and i cant get it to work. It works fine is i turn the VPN off. Ive used these details: Key1: yes Key2: <my username> Key3: <my password> Key 4: custom Key 5: openvpn Key 6: i've left this blank, i don't know what it is Key 7: yes Ive downloaded the .ovpn file i need from VPNSecure and placed it it /appdata/binhex-delugevpn/openvpn I also placed a few other files supplied by them in there, the folder contains: myusernam.key ca.crt credentials.conf (generated by the Docker) dh2048.pem nl1-TCP-myusernam.ovpn myusernam.crt When i try to go to the webUi on port 8112, nothing happens. Im fairly new to this - short of getting a PIA account, can anyone help? Many thanks.
