  1. Hi aptalca. I was using your PlexRequests docker and got similar error and when I saw your previous post, I switched over to linuxserver's PlexRequests.

Linuxserver's PlexRequests is working fine, but I haven't figured out how can I import database from your to linuxserver's PlexRequests docker. I have made backup of your PlexRequests so I have database saved. Can you give me some advice, how can I import database or it's content?

    Thanks

Not sure, but I'll check with the team

  2. Hi

Thanks for all your hard work with these dockers.

I am having trouble with the PlexRequests docker that previously worked great. I have deleted the docker and image and tried re-installing but I get the same following error:

Your development database is using mmapv1, the old, pre-MongoDB 3.0 database
engine. You should consider upgrading to Wired Tiger, the new engine. The
easiest way to do so in development is to run meteor reset. If you'd like to
    migrate your database, please consult

I am wondering if anyone else has this issue. Also any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I encountered that error on a new install as well, but haven't figured out a fix yet.

I am also now part of the linuxserver team and they have a plex requests container that works well. You might want to switch to that as I will most likely deprecate this container in favor of the linuxserver one soon.

That one has a different config folder structure so I would recommend setting it up from scratch.

  3. Thanks for adding GD. Will let you know if any other modules are needed but so far webpage is working great now!

I would like to donate some money to you as a thank you for adding them so quickly and helping me out

PM me your Paypal address. Thanks again!!

No need for a PM, address is here...  ;)

    https://www.linuxserver.io/donations/

I would like to send it to him directly. Thanks

I recently joined the linuxserver team and this container was truly a team effort (still is). Feel free to donate to the team if you like. But I don't accept donations personally. Thanks

  4. @aptalca

Is curl already installed or would I have to install it manually?

can't remember off the top of my head but if it's not we will push an update

Until then you can install with

    apk add --update curl

    if it's missing

Thanks! Looks like today's update added curl. Can you also add GD? cURL and GD are the most used features and i'm surprised they were not included. In the meantime, I'll add gd manually. Thanks again!

Yeah, there are a whole lot of php modules out there. I personally host an html5 site and a bunch of reverse proxies so don't really use php at all.

If there are other modules that are commonly used and needed, let us know and we'll add them to this container.

I'll go ahead and add php5-gd

  5. Hi,

I just started using the JDownloader container and it seems to be working fine.

Just one question: As I don't want JDownloader to download files to my cache drive I'm using the following mappings

    /config                      >> /mnt/user/appdata/jdownloader2

    /config/Downloads    >> /mnt/user/Downloads

I didn't face any problems with this yet but I want to make sure that I can actually use two mappings for the config folder.

Or is there a better way for moving the Downloads folder to my array?

Don't map the same folder twice. I have no idea how unraid or docker handles it.

Just change the second mapping to /Downloads instead of /config/Downloads and you can select that as the download location in jd2 settings

  6. Thanks again for everyone's help.  So I setup password protection for the main site using .htpasswd and verified it's working.  I also dumped the minimux files in the WWW folder and can get to that.

Beyond that though, I need to figure out how to point Nginx to all the docker's i'm running (all Linuxserver.io dockers).  I saw under the original Nginx docker support thread there used to be a link to sample config files, but that's gone now.  Does anyone have a sample of how to configure Nginx for linuxserver.io dockers?  (Plex, Sonarr, etc.)  Just need one example and I can knuckle through the rest.  Thanks!

The default site config has examples for both the base url and the subdomains method

  7. I'm getting this error even after just doing a fresh install of Nginx-letsencrpt

That's the official letsencrypt client script trying to update itself. Not something under my control. It may have been a temporary connection issue to github

I'll look into it but likely not something on my end

  8.

I'm trying to troubleshoot this.  I've installed the docker and used ports 8086 and 444.  When I go to https://unraidIP:444 or http://unraidIP:8086, I get "Unable to Connect".  After a couple of minutes, the docker shuts down.  I went to my "appdata" and locked in the "Log" folder, but nothing is in any of the three folders.

I've deleted the docker and the folder in "appdata" and tried reinstalling.  I've tried different ports, same thing.

I'm using duckDNS and I've verified the domain I'm using works.  I've also verified that port 443 on my firewall points to my Unraid server.

What am i missing?  Any thoughts?

What does the docker log show?

Did you forward port 443 on the router to port 444 on unraid?

  9. Are there any instructions to ensure a successful migration from the old docker container? Any specific things we should look out for when transferring the files?

    Thanks!

Install the new container in a new config folder, let it get the certs, and then you can transfer the contents of the www folder and the necessary elements from the site config. That's really all.

  10. ok well I managed to get the bootstrap3 theme in place for calibre-server, can I get some guidance on how to modify the container to have username and password now? I have searched but cant find the commands that would accomplish that, or where the files are inside the container.

Inside the container, find the file /etc/my_init.d/firstrun.sh

The last line starts the calibre server. You have two options:

    1) You can add a parameter for password: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/generated/en/calibre-server.html

    2) You can delete that line, and instead, you can start the webserver from the calibre gui under sharing over the net (you have to select port 8081 for it to work)

PS. This is really for advanced users and is not the intended use of this container, but since you figured out how to get the theme to work, I'm confident you can do this as well

  11. I have recieved great help in this forum, hope someone knows an answer to this:

As far as I know, jdownloaders click n load runs on port 9666. I have added that port to the jdownloader docker. On my windows machine, I used

    netsh interface portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=9666 connectaddress=192.168.178.100 connectport=9666 listenaddress=127.0.0.1

However, I am still not able to use click n load. Anyone knows what im missing ?

Edit: Really dont get it. If I run the same command on my windows machine but change the contactaddres to the IP of my mac, everything works. I click the click and load button on my pc and the jdownloader on the mac picks it up. However, using the unraid machines Ip, it doesnt work. Does the dockers JD not come with cnl capabilities ?

Did you enable cnl to listen for outside connections?

If not, go to advanced settings, search for cnl and one of the three options should be for listening on localhost only. Uncheck that, hit ok, restart, then you can go to http://unraidip:9666/flash and you should see the word jdownloader.

I'm assuming you also added port mapping for 9666 in the container settings

  12. So I fixed the previous problem, but now I have a question.  For many months now, my plex has stated a new version is available.  How do we get that updated?  Seems like the docker should be updated?  Or is this something I should do from within Plex?

    width=300http://my.jetscreenshot.com/12412/20161111-8ywq-48kb.jpg[/img]

If you don't want to see the notification, you can go to plex settings and change the update channel to public. That way it will only notify you if there is a new public version, which the limetech docker installs.

  13. is it possible to expose the "~/.config/calibre/resources/content_server" folder of calibre server to a mapped container path? I would love to be able to use a bootstrap theme for my calibre server.

    https://github.com/sudiphed/CalibreBootstrap/tree/master/content_server

    TIA

You can exec into the container and install it. As long as you don't delete the container, it will be fine. I'm not planning on updating that container any time soon (unless I have to due to an error)

  14. Getting RDP-Calibre up and running was a snap, but now that it is I feel uneasy about exposing the library through my firewall.  Is there any way to set up password protection?  I see through the GUI you can configure more options for sharing including user and password, but this stuff seems to be irrelevant as it appears the server share portion of the docker is running detached from this server process?

You can use nginx reverse proxy to password protect it

  15. What if i setup a Ubuntu web server to run Zoneminder?  I have 4 ethernet ports, eth3 is not part of my binding setup.  Can i pass that port through to the Ubuntu server, leave the VPN running for the rest of my unraid server, connect eth3 to my LAN to separate that network traffic from the unraid traffic and just use Lets Encrypt certs to encrypt my Zoneminder server?

Hopefully that all made sense :)

    Thanks guys!!

Is this a good work around for what I am trying to do?

I guess you'll just have to try it.

But like I said before, try it with just a regular webserver first, like the plain nginx container. If you can access its home page from the Internet, then you can set up letsencrypt.

  16. I agree with CHBMB. If you're forcing all traffic through a vpn, I'm honestly not sure how it affects webservers. Your wan ip address essentially becomes the vpn server's ip address and depending on your openvpn set up, it might reject all direct traffic outside of the tunnel.

I think you should experiment with getting a regular (basic) web server up and running first. Once you get that working, you can look into letsencrypt.

  17.

    Hi,

I have a question about my ZoneMinder 1.29 docker.

When i use ZoneMinder 1.29 in docker, i have a incomplete frame 2-6 time a day.

I'm testing with my ZM 1.29 Docker and ZM 1.29 in a VM on the same UNRaid server. Always use the same stream of my 2 cameras.

I have this incomplete frame only on my ZM docker and not on my ZM VM.

Is it possible to be a resource problem with docker?

    Thanks for your help.

Could be. I really can't say. The container uses the same settings and resource allocation methods described in the official install guides, but being run in docker could have side effects. I'm afraid there isn't much to go on.

  18. Thanks again for the RDP-Calibre docker!

Mine is telling me that there's an update to version 1.70 2.70 available. I thought I saw somewhere in here instructions on how to update it in docker, but my searching hasn't turned it up yet.

Something about unpacking the .jar ourselves, or do we need to wait for a fresh build from you?

Enter the EDGE variable in container settings and set it to 1 and after that it will auto update calibre on each container start

  19. I feel like if it is triggered it should send a "wuphf" http://theoffice.wikia.com/wiki/WUPHF.com_(Website)

    A 404 error?

Fine, I'll post the bit here:

On the latest episode of The Office, temp Ryan founds his own social media startup, WUPHF. The service purportedly sends a message to friends on all their channels, Facebook, chat, SMS and Twitter. It even prints out a ‘wuphf’ (pronounced “woof,” the sitcom’s version of a ‘tweet’) on the nearest printer.
